Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

goodbye 20k, hello teens Not yet. 20K still holding. I must admit that the multippol idea worked and maintained a price of around 30K satoshi for very long time. However, new coins are stealing the idea about multipool and it is harder and harder for any altcoin to survive in this ocean of alts.
There's another very big problem, and that is just the amount of BTC that has been removed from the Mintpal pump and dump market. Volume on everything is down significantly on Mintpal for everything. SilkCoin's volume for being the new hype recently was pathetic. The entire "single feature pump scheme" that we've seen over the past month or two on all of these coins is collapsing now, and it's hurting BC as well as it has had its volume removed from it due to BTC just being lost in general. People left BC, went to these other coins, and are now stuck holding bags over there. Interesting point. You think that the recent bitcoin price going down has made a few traders to get their coins out of mintpal and seek refuge in the $ or keep them ready to sell on bitstamp or btc-e? I wasn't really expecting Silkcoin to go very high when it hit MintPal like Entropycoin. Both coins didn't seem to have too much innovation or volume so I didn't buy. There's a chance Cloakcoin would have went higher, but we'll never know now. But yes, volume in general seems to be down.

No idea why even this coin can land on Mintpal with their ninja launch. Yes it may be true that some btcs were removed from mintpal because of the last epic panic sell.

Made a nice amount of BC betting on Holland , o man what a match They take 10%? No, they take 5% of the prize pool. The bets of the winners aren't in the prize pool. For instance: team A: 1000 BC Team B: 500 Draw: 300. When team A wins the 500 + 300=800 --> 800-5%=760 BC are divided between the winners.

Exactly what is happening. Then we might see the situation reversing. Seems like the btc price is testing 600 again on stamp so panick among coin holders should fade away. We'll soon know if that's the case based on the amounts traded on mintpal. And ..it's monday Does anybody have a chart of the entire traded volume on mintpal? (all coins , not only bc)

... Why do you think that Silk is a scam?
Silk 2% premine and they made halving so in real 4% premine.... premine coins usually end BAD investment IPO are better becouse IPO took risk eg. HMY harmony 6000sat IPO now HMY= 1000sat price but devs have money to invest in coin so MAYBY it will pay off IPO investors in IPO early investors take risk in premine all take risk because you never know when devs will sell off. And write me successful premine coin and BC colne... YC AC WC OC LIM -> take history lesson ^^ I got Silk 1st day mintpal and i have sold that day i knowed how it will end. Silk wallet compare to practicle or Worldcoin . Today silk is like those coins with premine.

China > who the hell cares about their banning anymore? FBI > they are selling less than a day volume and they are treating bitcoin like real assets 51% . Not the first time , nothing happened , nothing will really happen Anyhow I have placed again a few buy orders for bc but I'm not risking more than half of bitcoin in those walls till 20k. If it gets too much under 20k it would be the third consecutive mistake I've made in less than 24hours.

Do you think BC will go any lower? Even at current prices, it is undervalued. Hope for a quick rise again. I was happier when it was 42,000 sats when the Coinkite news was out.
