Great, Now with its attempt to reach global adoption, looks like BC is starting to become the coin of preference to people advertising their products/services/talents :p (antiques/croissant merchants, talented but unknown Ghetto/Underground/daHoodz Hip-Hop groups, first class developers, etc)
Next ? Excited..

They are at the same address, just like I said. Over 3000 confirmation and no stake. Same address yes, but they need to be in the same unspent output as well afaik. So just send all of it in one transaction to a new address in your wallet so they will become one unspent output that will stake. 5050 coins staking.. another 24 hours and no stake.. I give up. dont give up, just close the wallet and forget about it for a week. If you haven't already then sweep your wallet balance to another address so it will be in one large input - multiple small inputs will never get stake unless they are left to age for a very long time. The easiest way for you to stake is once a week or fortnight, open the wallet in 1 or 2 weeks, leave it open for a day it WILL stake/until it stakes and confirms. then close the wallet and repeat again in another 2 weeks. Its already in one address. I'll your strategy.. to clarify, the 5050 should be from one transaction or input to an address, not just the total of an address from many transactions/inputs. yes, yes.. sent to self.

Just saw this on twitter, not sure what this means for Black Halo. ......Very disappointing..... Well, that depends on how you look at things. The truth of the matter is that all crypto is suffering from a profound lack of fresh capital - added to that you have the fragmentation caused by 1000's of alt coins struggling to grab their own piece of the pie... so everything just goes down over time. I look at this as more a case of "anything that might bring in more capital is a good thing" - yes, even if it's not coming into BC directly. When rat4 helped other coins pull their heads out of their asses code-wise... it ultimately helped BC. I'm talking long-term, naturally. If David's efforts with Bryce wind up helping RZR... you can think of this as either a betrayal against BC, or you can think of it as further marketing for Bit/BlackHalo - and validation that yet another dev that's closely involved and personally committed to the BC cause... is truly a great asset! If we get to the point where donations to the devs are equal to a six-figure salary... then by all means we can start demanding (via smart-contracts even ) that they adhere to non-compete clauses! As it is, all the BC I've donated to David (and that wasn't a small amount really) were probably used up on coffee and incidental expenses as he tirelessly worked to get BlackHalo into people's hands. About the only thing I find "disappointing" about the tweet is that Bryce conveniently left out mention of BlackHalo - only mentioning the BitHalo variant... but I can understand that based solely on the responses here about David being involved in anything other than BC at all.

Is there any profitable way to mine at all currently? BC Pool payouts have not been great recently, but it looks like altcoin mining sucks in general. Not a miner myself, but that's what the overall opinion looks like to me. Blackcoin needs SuperNet as soon as possible.
For what? Is it the current pump feature of the week now that all the nonsense anon shit is more or less done and dusted?

Only profitable is XMR today but you need use modified miner for GPUs from clymore. I mine only that one coin i gave up with BC multipool because it don't have XMR. I keep some XMR and convert into BC/BTC. Today is only one profitable coin enjoy till you can. ... For what? For people is very hard to get that everywhere is pretty same go on any other coin thread and BS about price... And we have overloaded market too guys this ground need shaking scam coin can not win all time... Mitpal had 10 000BTC volume with BC pump now all volume is 250BTC so... I think to many REAL scam coin scared many people like it should at some point people will invest in well known coins with active comunities and skip new coins.

This has been clarified by Grit when he talked with David on IRC. David is quite upset about that tweet and cannot seem to handle how to approach it. He has been developing solely for Blackcoin, Blackhalo/Bithalo. I guess, David himself can clarify this things here.

Missing Crypto-Trade from the list of Blackcoin exchanges. Been able to trade BC there for months now. It was actually one of the first exchanges to provide a direct USD as well as BTC currency pair for Blackcoin

I REALLY HOPE SO I WILL SEE NEW ATH SOON ! ATH soon? Price would increase by 10x I doubt it. don't listen to this FUDster price will go to 200k at least, to TEH MOON Despite the fact that it's your usual "helpful" comment... I thought I would reply. A 10X increase would indeed be ridiculous in the current environment, for that I agree with you. However, I think we will see a time in the not-too-distant-future where 95% of all current alt-coins fail completely, and crypto itself is truly tested to see if it's viable as an alternative to fiat long-term. I personally believe that BC will be one of a handful of coins (probably less than 5 total) which will survive this Crypto-Armageddon... however, I'm definitely not staking my life savings on this. Of course, I'm not staking my life savings on any of this... but I am leaving my BC and a select few others in my wallets just to see. If that situation does occur and the current market cap of all alt-coins is consolidated into 3-5 coins... a 10X increase will be what the worst of those increases by... the best will be more likely to see a 100X increase. On the other hand if we continue on this path of 10-20 new coins per-week being released... then the ultimate value of all coins (including BTC) will soon be less than a penny again. I don't really see there being a middle ground - eventually even the most idiotic investors (or "InvestorPeople" if you prefer ) will stop throwing good money after bad in an attempt to hit a huge pump at the perfect time and leave with profits. More and more are getting burned out on missed timing, total scams, and ponzi schemes than are entering the market with fresh money... so the writing is already on the wall... it's just when that's up in the air. IMHO of course.

Does the blackcoin wallet use much diskspace when staking. Just thought I'd ask what its maximum requirements could be just in case Ive not left enough leeway in the temp directory or something

Didn't know staking itself would use any disk space, why would it?

no additional disk space is needed or used for staking.

no additional disk space is needed or used for staking. Uses essentially the same amount of RAM (~200MB) even and the CPU demands are only a little higher than the syncing itself. The only diskspace (same as all cryptos) is the blockchain itself... which just slowly eats all of your drive space. Of course, if you're not on an SSD or in a VM - even that shouldn't be a problem.
