Difficult to attribute certain events to raising price. All these little things could add up eventually. Even if price rises after news, it could be a combination of things. Really difficult to determine cause and effect. It might even be something really stupid as 1 random person saying "Buy" and causing an entire chain reaction.

You summarised pretty well what happened when Bryce Whyner said BC was heading to 10$,
but then it collapsed right after 90k, or mere 5 cents.

That was a smart move indeed, with gigantic interests for many of us.
