*Update

Just compiled successfully linux and windows QT wallets and everything seems fine but one of the devs maybe found a flaw in the code this morning, we are currently doing the last tests to be sure everything goes well at launch.

And since we're a bit in a rush OP will be edited on time with GITHUB, linux wallet and windows wallet, no passworded zip. No one will be mining the coin before you since no one on the team will be mining.

When source will go public, pools will be available very fast.

As for the current state of the wallet for those who say it's buggy : in fact the only problem is a minor rpc error on windows QT that will be solve very fast after launch by an outside dev, but we can't show him the source before launch.

Minor error like what? can it be used to solo mine or not?

I would suggest putting back the launch 24hours and fixing it up perfectly.

Why all the POS coin algorithm is scrypt , why not try X11. I'm confused.

So, can someone explain to me how the pools work with a new launch? Don't they need time to get the daemon up and running?

So I repeat this question...

Do pools have earlier access to the daemon or anything? Otherwise, they will still need to download, compile, and configure the daemon right at launch which will probably take time....

Why all the POS coin algorithm is scrypt , why not try X11. I'm confused.

They lack the ability to comprehend how problematic it is to allow asic farms/multipools to hop on at launch.

Dev mentality:

High hashrate = success

even though 98% of it will be comprised of asic farms/multipools. (Look at SHIBE for reference, was a complete fucking disaster in regards to distribution)

I'll be using silk.pool.mn - they administrators seem to be in touch with the community and legitimate.

I can assure you at least 90% hashrate will go to whichever pool is online the first, and people won't bother switching to another one for at least a couple of days, no matter the security risks it can cause.

Lol, ok? So by it being a short distribution stage, let's make it even more impossible for the average miner to generate anything worthwhile right?

Listen to the suggestions of the community as there will not be a deterrent for everyone that has advocated for scrypt because they're able to mine GROESTL as well.
Unless they already have asics..  Angry

Also, X11 blocks out the Nvidia mining community and is less efficient compared to Groestl. Simple choice at this point, pick GROESTL
