Wow - I'm just shocked at how this unfolded Isn't it funny how I gave you guys great advice and yet everybody hates me for it? Who doesn't wish they would have sold at 7000 like I told you too? I wouldn't have been here if I wasn't certain this was a scam, guys. The dev is a scammer - he's scammed people before and he will scam people again. Next time, feel free to ask me to analyze a coin before you buy into it and I will give you my honest assessment. Stop losing money! I'm happy to help. least you got a few thankyou and I WAS the first one to say scam. I even took threats.

Guys, don't panic we may still have a chance.
A lot of people are still ready to support silkcoin including me. And look at the plan, it's the best in all crypto and we can do it with proper devs!
Saw that posted on the Peerpay thread. Maybe those guys can help silkcoin out. I am not affiliated in any way to raxe.io . Seems like he needed some devs and I just remember reading these guys, I do not know how good they are. Distrocoin flopped and I don't know if their own coin has even been revived. Were begging the community for help with fixes to the code. In this case I'm not even sure if the sc code is broken??

Remember this on your way out. You don't lose until you sell.
LOL you still are soo ignorant, you deserve to lose your funds! Will you say it again once Silk gets delisted? REMEMBER YOU ONLY LOSE UNTIL YOU SELL........ There will be a moment you can't sell, and then? You still have worthless coins. Keep saying that, watch your coins in your wallet and have fun with it... Sorry you sold your coin. Weak hands.

Ok people really? This has turned into one royal fuck up yes, BUT from what I can tell the Dev is trying to get this issue fixed, not to mention at least he had the fucking balls to come on here and fess up to what was going on knowing full well what kind of reaction it would get.
Are there holes in his story still? Yes, but once again at least he is letting us know what is happening. I think he had his chance and this coin needs a community takeover, get a/some experienced devs in here to fix the issues and take over.
Silkcoin, I would say transfer the 8 BTC to Q or a trusted escrow like OG nasty or some such and sit back and let real devs handle the issues but for the love of Christ stay in contact with them if they have questions. IF they manage to save SC I will personally re compensate you with a portion of my SC bag just for being a man and letting us know what was happening.
I know I will be holding all of my SC in case we can get a real team to step in and fix the confirmation error, the mint pal api issue causing wallet 1.0.9.2 crash, and a MAC wallet compiled.
I am no coder but these issues seem like they would be child's play for an experienced dev to hammer out in a day or two if not sooner I mean don't the amount of confirms needed for coins get changed all the time? And the api just needs to be replaced with the new mint pal api and the wallet just needs a MAC compile jesus h Christ people quit freaking the fuck out and DO something to help fix it
If you want to save the coin I think a wallet should be put out that uses the new bitcoin source that addresses the heartbleed. Take out all the fancy market stuff for now. It is not needed and takes more troubleshooting. You need to get a stable AND secure wallet out. After the coin is moving, staking, and trading...then you can sit down and figure out where to go... Just my thoughts...

If you get a good stable wallet out based on new bitcoin core...take out the market... you can stablize the coin. First thing to do is get a stable wallet out... Take the market stuff out... it causes a lot of problems ... That can be a project down the line... for now get things stable... Have dev send the 8 btc to new manager.

I know this is a difficult time for this community and I am sincerely sorry for the loses experienced by many good people. This sort of thing is happening with such regularity I fear that it bodes poorly for the health of the entire altcoin scene. Anyone burnt by this and other scams has every right to walk away from crypto feeling bitter and betrayed. There are honest coins out there though. I hope that some of you will check out NobleCoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=402667.0 It was created to prove that an honest altcoin can exist and it has stayed true to that vision.

Already there is one positive example of code corrections and revival of the coin after stopping trading on Mintpal and Cryptsy. I'm talking about Asiacoin and its strong community.

I would contact Flubber to see if he can compile a clean windows wallet for now with new Bitcoin core code. Take some of that 8btc and pay him to do it right away.
