what would the price have to be for mining to be profitable?

Not sure. I know there's a calculator for it somewhere but difficulty keeps changing and stuff.  But like I mentioned in one of my earlier posts. I'm not mining for today's price but for what the price that it will be in the near future.  Just look at Darkcoin. With the block rewards and difficulty. I'm pretty sure, it's no where near profitable to mine but look how many people are mining it.  Same goes for DRM.  Believe in your Dreams and it will become reality.

Yeah dude. Hook him up! Dev is a hard honest worker that has gone through quite a bit with the trolls. I've sent him some.  He stands out quite a bit from other Devs because he listens to the community. Not stuck up or a dictator.  Some Devs are like, it's mine coin, like it or not, you play by my rules.  Not here since we all pretty much have similar dreams.  Money and Gi*ls or G*ys (depends of your preference or if you're a female). HaHa!

Atleast Dev can post a working wallet on the OP, so that people with less technical knowledge can just download and run the wallet. My wallet is not syncing and I have tried everything with my little knowledge.  

Here are steps for anyone having problems:

Download dreamcoin-qt.zip

Unzip to dreamcoin-qt

Run dreamcoin-qt.exe

Go to your Users/yourusername/Apps/Roaming/Dreamcoin

Close Dreamcoin and delete all the files in that directory above, then copy over your Dreamcoin.conf file

Then run dreamcoin-qt.exe

(You can add the extra nodes to the Dreamcoin.conf file as they are not in there yet)

It should sync up just fine There is no problem with the wallet, you just need to have the .conf file setup correctly.

Yes PoS starts at block 8000 but PoW does not end until block 10,000.

I'm definitely seeing some red flags with this coin (and DreamCoin) as well. I think it's a new way to make a buck easily for the dev's. I wonder what you guys think.

1) Create a coin with a short mining period, so you can easily mine a lot of coins in the beginning
2) Publish that you have something revolutionary implemented, although it doesn't have to be true, this will raise the price
3) Sell them high before everyone realizes it's not what it supposed to be

You did it wrong my friend. Here is the message from dev about this issue.  someone was blackmailing dev for this.

Dev : ^^^ This user sent me a PM trying to blackmail me just so everyone knows. I have already stated in this thread what is being done with libzerocoin and zerocoin implementation. Updates will be made by next week to the current libzerocoin code, Zerocoin needs further development before it is completely integrated with Dreamcoin, it simply isn't ready for primetime quite yet. Learn to read before trying to troll...The current code is just being setup, not quite there yet Wink But we will be! Cheesy I promise you that.

No premine or instamine and huge community support and third top coin on bittrex for volume, I really think you need to get your facts straight before you starting throwing out the word scam and trolling.
