Thought we should mention that with POW now over we know that it created fewer coins than projected. Current money supply stands at 1,765,082 so POS had about a 100,000 coin effect on the money supply. Even a bit more rare than expected.

Keep dreaming!

The Dream Pool will mine other profitable coins and sell them to purchase DRM.  Since there aren't that many DRMs in the market, it will only drive up the prices.  I honestly believe the ones that are selling are hoping for dips so that they can accumulate more DRMs.  I don't think anyone is intentionally dumping based on the sell volume.  Dreamcoin is looking brighter everyday!

Multipool is for new people who want to collect Dream with mining who have gpus but dont have money to buy dream in exchanges.. also to keep price stable, and to push dream price up by creating a buy demand continuously with BTC collected from multipool as well  Wink

No prob man. Not sure if it's normal but it should be.  I believe BC has a multipool like that and there are others too. I believe Dream Pool will be the most effective due to the low total coins of DRM and that a lot of Dreamers are holding as you can see from the Rich List.  Wink

Agreed.  The key is to look at the sell books.  Even though the price dipped to just over 20K, it would still only require about 2BTC across both exchanges to get back into the 30's.  There was actually a 3btc sell wall at 30K which is also gone now..

That's a great point..  with an efficient multipool and some decent hash, it should eat up the sell book rather quickly..  I'm holding and I'll be contributing some hash as well.

You're right! and 2BTC from the Dream Pool should be gravy!  I'm sure once the Dream Pool is live, the price will shoot to the clouds even before we cash in to purchase our DRMs.  Dream on! Dreamers!

Sounds interesting, i'm holding my fresh mined dreamcoins lets see what it does.

The thing with multipools thow, you need a pretty nifty algorithm to pick out the most profitable coins to mine.
And since all coins have a some code to discourage multipools, this is no easy task.
Any idea who (credentials) is going to make the dream mulipool ?

HaHa! I don't blame you.  Anyways, on a serious note.  I am not sure what the Dream Pool fees will be, but I'm assuming 1-2%.  If it got increased 0.5% to go to the Dream Development Fund, would you guys still mine there?  I still would.  It would help the Dev get his team together so that they can implement Zerocoin into DRM.  I think this is a small investment for a potential HUGE return.  Let me know what you guys think.

Its confirmed it 2.5% until Mintpal adds us, it will be reduced to 2% very fair and good reasons tbh.

"Taner" would be the person to best answer your question.  Taner did mention there will be scrypt, sha and x11 mining options.
