It's a way for a scammer to assign value to an inherently worthless scam coin. If you look at Bohans Facebook page he was an outspoken supporter of Asia coin which is a well known scam that used obfuscated coding to hide a massive premine. My guess is he was behind that too.

I remember on day 1 I looked at Asiacoin's website and could tell a non-Asian made this with its stereotypical hot Asian girl with big anime eyes that it was a scam and moved on from there. I mean really, "a coin for Asians to get them through these tough times"? Asian economies are booming right now. Unfortunately people got fooled.

I live in Asia and trust me a lot of Asians spend all day posting pics of stereo-typically hot Asian girls on their Facebook pages! I just wonder if Bohan was behind it given he's created this little gem and was a proponent of Asia coin if you flick back a bit on his FB page https://www.facebook.com/bohan0?fref=ts

Uro coin is perhaps legit but how much is one coin is another thing.
Last couple of days we saw just a big P&D. now it declines back to previous value of last weekend tahts all. All money are now in hands of whales

It's floor is up 200K satoshi though.

Dev was anonymous but he posts in support of it on his Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/bohan0?fref=ts and it's unlikely he's stupid enough to have had any genuine interest in it as a market participant.

Even if 1 trade is made, that does not give it a real value.  If that trade is made, that doesn't mean the price on the exchanges is just going to shoot up either.  It's only a real value if it can maintain that price.  Just because I can sell $30 watch to a naive person for $350 does not make it's value $350.  It's still high speculation.  Doesn't mean I won't keep my eye on it, but I'm speculative.  And unfortunately I have real work to do, time to close the BCT.org.

That's not really a fair comparison as they are a delivering a product worth $300 which is currently trading at $6 so it would confirm they legitimately mean business and are willing to bear the risk.  If you know you can get something worth $300 for $6, $50 or $250  there will be new buyers who actually want to use the product and if they can get it at a discount they will buy.

Did you expose the premine? or have any substance to your accusations? as otherwise you were probably just a troll, at start asiacoin seemed quite genuine, you could probably troll every altcoin thread that the coin is a scam, and you might be right 50% of the times, but you don't have any substance, then your just another troll.

Just because something is backed by a commodity, it doesn't mean the owners of the asset will necessarily do a good job of making sure there is always a correlation between the asset and the commodity.

For your reference, I submit to you TVIX: supposed to move at 200% of the VIX or market volatility indicator but seldom does and frequently goes down when the VIX goes up. This is because its owners (Credit Suisse) have found a way to legally manipulate money out of people who are assuming this ETN (Exchange Traded Note) will correlate with the VIX, like Credit Suisse says its supposed to.

Hey uro community! I just saw thar uro price has skyrocketed.  I was busy pumping other coins and dismissed uro as a piss coin when I first heard about it.

I also realize that uro is first of its kind which is backed by a real commodity which is urea and it has great real life benefits and will change the alt coin scene .

But this current price is tooo much for me to enter.
Can you please sell all ur uro so I can buy them cheaper.

Ehhh.. long term it will inevitably move to being worth more than the commodity in $, why? Because massively reduced fees and volatility.

Unless you live in fairy land it's not very likely that they've found someone to deliver a $4million order of fertilizer for free, however his best play might be too pay a corrupt business owner to pretend they've received a $4million order of fertilizer for free. That would destroy all the fud and probably boost the price 20-40 fold intil it becomes obvious why trying to tie a commodity to cryptocurrency is inherently floored.
