Here are the key points I have collated from the developer over numerous posts so far:

The mixer technology will be multi-path across a cluster of xnodes which runs over the encrypted protocol, so it won't be a central server, it would be similar to a distributed cluster, and the data is encapsulated inside that encrypted tunnel to prevent off-the wire sniffing (or off-the-air* for the mobile platform)...  DRK didn't "invent" supernodes or the concept, and while some of concepts are similar and/or overlap, we are on a different path than DRK and as we refine the platform, it will be clear why our design, implementation and infrastructure is superior as we will have autonomous supernodes using PKI that can scale up and out to become a distributed anonymous application platform

This is why the multi-path paradigm network I built back in 2005 still functions to do this day and scaled up to meet the demands of 2014... think back to 2005, granted we had the internet, but not the mobile technology - and that is a key part of my background is mobility that will be leveraged in the android anonymous POS wallet

To anyone that has doubts, you can always buy a single XC coin (or more!) and send them to your wallet and try out the anonymous feature yourself, as it is currently working in a early state. You can then copy and paste your transaction ID into the block explorer listed in the introductory post of this thread. I think this is an important step that anyone interested in purchasing this coin should perform. I believe if I'm not mistaken, that although the current system runs off a single node, the way the anonymous transaction currently appears in the block explorer obfuscates the sending address chain in a similar fashion to the final planned design, although I could be wrong about that.

I myself have been burned so many times by devs who said they were who they weren't, or that they could do things they couldn't, that I can never 100% trust who someone is on the internet without verifiable proof, so I can understand some of the skepticism. But I remain cautiously optimistic at the extremely exciting possibility that we may actually see the distributed Xnode system successfully deployed within the three week time window offered by the dev. If that comes true then I will stand in awe of this (finally) very professional coder who took the time to make a quality, functional coin that offers the exciting combination of PoS, anonymous transactions, and innovative blockchain technologies that are well thought out and made possible through decades of experience.

The alt coin world has been battered lately by devs who are under-qualified for the task of creating a cryptographically secure trustless network. It is therefore understandable that many of us feel wary that any dev making such promises would be once again trying to pull the wool over our eyes, but on this one I am cautiously hopeful.
