Wow I have hooked up many people in the last few weeks with GM Genesis-Mining and everyone is really pleased. What I don't really get about this loan investment is the break even due to the high interest rates. There is a funding up https://bitlendingclub.com/loan/browse/lid/1302 with 300% interest rates from the borrowers. Genesis-mining has a calculation in the FAQ of a break even after 97 days, which does seem realistic - but if you assume an increase in difficulty over the mining period of one year, then one would be hard pressed to pay back a 300% interest rate after one year, not even speaking of making any profits.

Borrowing bitcoin at 10% monthly interest to buy mining contracts is not a good idea. The only one who wins is the lender, because it is unlikely you will ever ROI. Before you go down that path consider just buying a few litecoin and holding long term.

1) It would be nice to see a mining progress (chart or counter like other cloud hosts) . I guess everybody would like to know the profitability of his "virtual miner" at a given time.
Especially when someone has allocate percentage of power to various coins.

2) Try to keep a steady frequency in payments

3) Maybe a chart to compare the earnings of each day/week

I bought one MHS..I sent in support ticket as I thought we were supposed to be paid daily yes? Also I expected first payment to be lower as is not full 4 hours but since that payment more than 24 hours have gone past actually a day and a half and still nothing else has arrived.

Some days the payment is steady every 24 hours, other days nothing for 24 hours, and some other there are 2 payments in the same days with some hours difference.

You are right. The payout timing is not yet perfect. There is some double-checking of numbers that in part also requires human interaction. Going forward we will try to get the payouts with a better timing. We have already some extensive reporting in place and soon we have several persons that can double-check everything and signoff the payout.

We apologize for the timing, but please be rest assured that you will always get your payment!

Thanks for mining with us! We have heard the request about additional charts often and we will get it some attention after the next feature is there. We would appreciate some feedback from the community which chart they would like to see.

1) mined coins (yesterday / last week) and their current value in USD?
2) current profitability of coins based on difficulty / prices (this is tricky to do because difficulty of some coins and the prices can change quickly)
3) something else?

Please be patient. I know that Z is looking at it right now, double-checking everything and will do the payout soon! (not soonish! .

The timing is not yet perfect, but going forward it will get better.
For the first day: you are correct. We measure contracts from the point in time you start (times based on UTC) and if you buy at 20:00 UTC you will get a 4 hour mining output for the first day. After that every day has a 24 hour period.

I have my mining set to 100% bitcoin payouts, but I would like to see a daily beak down of what coins were mined, and at what exchange rate they were converted to bitcoin for the payout.  As things stand there is no transparency in the mining process at GM.
