When will the mainnet be available?
The testnet 2.0 is working well now. Mining is so promising.

We are planning mainnet release now, we will announce date and time soon.

No rush, rather have it bug free, stay the course...

Whats the point in making it GPU resistant? All CPU coins are dead.

I didn't know Bitcoin was dead!?!

Bitcoin was the first decentralized cryptocurrency. It was originally designed to be mined with CPUs, yes. But the world changes, anyways, the decision to make Verium CPU only must have its hidden motives. Someone might have developed a GPU miner and will cluster fuck the network with its high hashrate, profitable for some maybe. But the truth is, its all about profit and the dev who develops its own private miner wins. Decentralized huh? I dont think so. In reality, advertising Verium as a CPU only coin so "any" person can mine it from home is just food for thought. Dont get fooled.

You're misunderstanding the reality of something that requires so much memory. If you had a GPU that could mine it, you would leave 99% of your cores sitting useless. That means the performance benefit if someone made a GPU miner would be marginal at best. Maybe when there are 64 GB GPUs, but for now it's not useful.

If you were on testnet1 you will need to delete all your blockchain data from testnet1 including wallet.dat

Yes as a preparation everyone who was on testnet 1 or 2 will need to delete all Verium testnet blockchain data including wallet.dat. Feel free to take testnet clients down anytime, supernode will go down tomorrow.
