--FACT is the VRC has no plans whatsoever to take it to the next level in terms of promotion or other efforts to bring it to the mainstream. In other words, no one outside of very well versed cryptoaddicts have even heard of VRC.
--FACT is that no one cares about the potential for software incorporation in the near future this coin may have.
--FACT is that there's no branding efforts in progress, not even plans for ones.
--FACT is that the gimmick of the dynamic interest is of so minimal importance that it doesn't even work as such gimmick.

All of these FACTS hinder the progression and value potential of this coin that is only a nerd game and, therefore, destined to be trading within a range of limited risk mini pumps and dumps, for there's absolutely nothing to look forward in it other than delusion, wild hopes and speculations based on a supposed superiority in programming, or software potential that is very far from proven and that, by the time it comes to fruition, will probably have been already implemented by a significant number of coins, some of them probably with superior overall or even particular product.

Ask VeriCoin to be on BitcoinWisdom - Open discussion
I've been thinking why VeriCoin is undervalue and one thing it's obvious, VeriCoin isn't in BitcoinWisdom market charts. I don't know if one has to pay to be listed on BitcoinWisdom but if this is the case I think we should make a crowdfunding for that.
Being in BitcoinWisdom would be a landmark and should bring more people to this project simply because everyone uses BitcoinWisdom and if we aren't listed the general public see us as outsiders, as shitcoin ou scamcoin and we know we aren't!
So here's the threat to discuss this and to discuss what we as a community that support Vericoin should do. This is more important than voting in the logos and if everyone that voted in the logo share an opinion maybe we can get this worked out.
If the "service" in BitcoinWisdom isn't payed, then we should request politely to be listed by email, twitter, facebook, etc. It's up to us to make this happen right?

You have some valid points on branding and that can be fixed.

Now as far as technical advantage, Vericoin is miles ahead of most coins. I don't need to get in to details, however read the latest updates, OP etc.
The sms feature in this coin has the potential to revolutionize how we use coins in the future. especially in emerging markets.

Most investors want a fast moving coin, pump so they make their money and dump it. hence so many clone coins.

I make a habit of not trashing another coin, but I rather learn and see how well they implemented some features.

Well, here's my todo list of thing that should be done to bring VeriCoin mainstream. We all like the innovations that VeriCoin has done already and we look forward for the the other innovations like VeriBit, but I really think that alone is not enough taking in consideration the crypto trading manipulations by whales, we need to think outside the box and take other approach besides the technical implementations. So here's my review of what's going on and what must be done:  

1. Oficial video on youtube by the developers in particular Patrick Nosker
This should be done as quickly as possible. The main idea behind this is to release a youtube video like we all see in the kickstarter projects. A simple video of the dev's or Patrick talking about VeriCoin and how it all started, the goal with the project with some explanation about the diferent sub-projects in VeriCoin as VeriSMS / VeriSend / VeriBit / VeriFund / so on.. This video would become viral in the first ou second day by the power of social networks (Facebook / Twitter).

2. Oficial Youtube channel for VeriCoin
Everyone knows the power of youtube channels and this could be one great feature for VeriCoin to go mainstream. Some content examples for the channel:
- What is VeriCoin? (Concept and why VeriCoin)
- How does it work? (explain the whitepaper and how does de interest/stake work)
- How to use the features (VeriSMS / VeriSend / VeriBit and so on)
- Current features and what's to come in the future
A good oficial youtube channel would bring a lot of people to VeriCoin because it's easier to see a video than digging in forums or to google. Also it would be easier to share with friends, just a link away and here it is. And the youtube payments from the advertising would be converted to VRC and would go also to the VeriFund.

3. More articles in cryptonews websites and awareness to opinion leaders
This is another massive opportunity that shouldn't be ignored, on the contrary! VeriCoin must be on the main CryptoNews sites even if it means that we have to pay for it. One good and long article in CoinDesk can make the diference and bring a spotlight to VeriCoin and what has been done and what's to come. Also we must bring to attention to the opinion leaders that VeriCoin exists and once again whats been done and what's to come. I did this yesterday (and been done for the last week) with MadBitcoins and already have a video that they talked of the existence of VeriCoin but without the real knowledge of the projecter. Yesterday my direct tweet to MadBitcoins finally made some remarkable retweets and now MadBitcois knows that VeriCoin is moving, let's see when he will refer to it in on of its shows. The golden goal of opinion leaders in my opinion is Andreas and with all the ideas behind VeriCoin (VeriSMS/VeriSend/VeriBit) it's obvious that VeriCoin it's not just an Altcoins.

4. More Bounties for the community
I think the developers know that they are not alone in this boat and theres a community thats growing. This community is eager to help in what way they can and the Bounties should be a good incentive to promote and solidify the project. Theres a lot that can be done with bounties, we just need a list of things that VeriCoin needs and make Bounties for that.

As I said, this project has a lot to offer but if theres no valid communication to the crypto community worldwide it will be doom to whale pump&dump and market manipulation. We cannot ignore the power of the media. The developers must stop a while and think really in a communication strategy like I've wrote, this is not rocket science it's the basic of a good communication plan and public relations stuff. I hope sincerely that this ideas and advices may be taken in consideration because it's the most important thing that VeriCoin has to do in the present day.

Post updates everyday and have ETAs. If you are afraid of people FUDing your ETAs then just give yourself a lot of room to deliver on time e.g. if you think it will take five days then say 15 days then when you deliver early price gets a huge boost. Under promise over deliver.

And for gods sakes add the phrase ANON onto the end of the thread title, do you know how many people that do NOT know VRC has anon function? Price could easily get to 50k with just these changes.

Most investors in new coins only care about anon right now because it is the current fad. And many people dont trust a coins anon tech until its fully released in the wallet so during beta testing phases we wont get much attention. Once VeriSend is released out of beta I can see VRC hitting 50k within two days.

Sadly I think having 24 million coins VS the other alts like XC having 6 million means all things being even we could probably only do 1/4 of XC price or half CRYPT price. But because VRC is much better than those coins I think we should still see 200k in a month`s time.
