hi,primer

I have found many PoB today, make sure you are :
1. Synced
2. Minting (unlocked wallet)
3. Running the latest client

'Minting (unlocked wallet)' What does this mean?
Use 'setgenerate true' command?

No, unlocked means not encrypted. Try running more than one instance of the wallet, 3-4 to be safe. Also make sure you dont have many coins in that wallet as that can stop syncing due to PoS bug..

Run two processes with -t 8, use task manager to set affinity, so that each process uses 8 /different/ threads.

The best flags IMO: -Ofast -funroll-loops -march=native
Got around 20% boost compared to -O3

now it's hard to find pob now .Currency becomes pointless to burn coins.  all  the supply one day reduced to about 4000 coins , too much time to find pob to get the coins back.

I have found many PoB today, make sure you are :
1. Synced
2. Minting (unlocked wallet)
3. Running the latest client

I have the same problem,  I am synced , Minting 24/7 and running last wallet........Huh

Well one last trick i use is to run several wallets. I know the dev says it makes no difference but try it and post results..

May be it can helps someone:
I had in my wallet immature burnt coins with no transaction waiting for something...  I think it was the problem. All time I re-sync the wallet those immature burned coins appeared. I had saved my wallet at the very beginning (with no transactions) so Re-sync with the empty wallet  has solved my problem. I have now mint block.

is  there  specific numbers of pob blcoks found per day ? How many coins burning?Calculate how long to get your burned coins back, people  still keep burning , also cause  reduce the number of pob.

What I have understood is that:  (making simple)

--> Number of POB block depends of number of POW block as POB block can only be generated after a POW block.
--> Number of POW block depends of POS. If POS is activated, it preempt on POW, an delay the generation of POW block until the max delay is reached (15min as I know).

Resulting:  Actually POS is active so the chance to mint a block  is  the part of your burned coin regarding the total burnt coins X by the number of potential POW block.

IE: the chance to get 1 mint POB for 1 day it should be max,  24h x 60m / 15m x  yourPartBurnt

Anyone correct me if I wrote something incorrect, It will help all to understand the process.

Note: After the relaunch, the POS has been activated, that can explain why POB are spare now.

Yes

Quote

The target time for PoW blocks is made so based on 90 seconds * amount of non-PoW blocks between the current PoW block and the last PoW block found. I may change this scheme.

Quote
the chance to get 1 mint POB for 1 day it could be max,  24h x 60m / 15m x  your%burnt

This approximation is not really accurate since: It assumes PoW blocks are found every 15 minutes and it assumes that after every PoW block, a PoB block is found. That is not the case since, it would usually take anywhere from 2-4 PoW blocks to find a PoB blocks.

The reason why I think there are less PoB blocks being found is because, some people that have burnt coins have left after the relaunch and are not using them, yet they still add to the difficulty.

Poeple that left are also not participating in the PoB minting. How does that affect PoB difficulty ? If everyone shut down their wallets except me, shouldn't i be getting all the PoB blocks ?

Yes, but the difficulty would be the entire networks' burned coins.
