As everyone knows one of the major problems with Bitcoin economy is hoarding. The idea of this poll is to find out whether the lack of spending in the BTC economy is mainly due to the lack of acceptance of Bitcoin payments, or is it that people can actually buy a good deal of stuff that they need with BTC but choose not to.

the lack of acceptance of bitcoin is true. many people are hoarding bitcoin because they think the growth of bitcoin can benefit them and if they stick with bitcoin prices in the past year and the current price is sure more and more will be hoarding bitcoin. that's why many save bitcoin rather than sell it and now it's said to be an investment but the risk is also great if what they expect to be wrong like price bitcoin fall.

yes, if i need it i will definitely use it. but if I do not need it, I only see it as an investment tool. by taking advantage of ever-rising prices, sometimes, I get the benefit of it. and I'm sure, a lot of people are doing it.

Bitcoin is still in its development stage, the value of bitcoin has not been determined, the price of bitcoin is not stable, so if I pay in bitcoin now, I think it will make me lose money, so I will not pay with bitcoin .

Well as for me, I sometimes use my bitcoin and convert it into fiat whenever I badly need cash. Like, there are times that my salary isn't enough for my family to buy our daily necessities. Bitcoin's value keeps pumping nowadays and its really a loss if you spend your bitcoin now. If only I had enough funds, I woud not spend my btc as for now. But whenever I use my bitcoin, I only spend 30% of it.

Here I voted for the price up only , Because I know that I have money increase everytime that I am seeing here in this field since many long time and it's value is increasing fastly in these days now , so why I should consider that the amount of the money that I have should not increase .
Rather here I would like to buy more and more bitcoin to hold in my wallet , Because here I have greed to make more and more money .
Currently I am not going to buy anything with the bitcoin , I know that many things are available to buy at Very low price  with bitcoin at some shopping sites like purse.io , but still here we can see that it is more better to use fiat to buy them then bitcoin , Because bitcoin amount to have will increase the value but not the fiat .

BTC for me is a long-term investments.So, I wait for the price to go up.Because btc price is pumping..

This is one of my goal I hold btc for a long term investments and some Im using it occassionally. When Im out of cash I often cashout my btc into fiat exchange to use for my personal needs. But the best thing is here were saving btc for the future as the price will goes increase.

Yes I used my bitcoin. I want to earned money so I uses my bitcoin to earned money because im a student, I need to pay my tuitions and also help my parents in their daily expenses or daily needs. I want my bitcoin to be a full member to earned more money. I used bitcoin as my hobby to spend my time in important things like bitcoin or crypto.

I use my btc to buy prepaid load for my phone. When i load my phone using btc, there's a discount on it than reloading in stores because there's additional tax and they're implementing it. That's the only thing i used btc and i am trying to save it by investing in poloniex and bittrex.

I don't think if you pay in bitcoin now, you will lose money. You can payment by bitcoin and buy it back. Currency in circulation is part of the overall money supply, otherwise we do not need bitcoin.

in a month, I am withdraw my bitcoin into fiat because I need money to stay alive and survive in real life and I still save the most of my bitcoin in my wallet. with the bitcoin price that is increase, I think I can withdraw small amount of bitcoin so I can have the money to buy my daily needs and even I can give that money to my parents. I use my bitcoin to buy something online and I am withdraw my bitcoin if I am in urgent needs beside my daily needs but I still waiting for the next high price that will come later.

I always withdraw bitcoin from my wallet to pay for my bills and monthly internet subscriptions and this had really been very helpful although I prefer holding my bitcoin but due to financial obligations I get no option than to use part of my bitcoin.

in my country use bitcoin for payment still difficult because iam not found store or market accept bitcoin yet

Actually majority of the time i used my btc very Occasionally because BTC is illegal in my country that's why there are no way to easily used in BTC. Limited sector accept Bitecoin it is the main problem.

Yes I do actually hold my coins before but came a time to convert into fiat money due to an emergency. Here in my country we can pay bills like for example; broadband, cable channel provider, credit card, home credit, government, health, utilities like water and power, telecom, insurance and tuition fees. I know that there were merchants that accept Bitcoin payments in exchange of goods in my country and I actually tried buying prepaid load, the transaction is fast and convenient that is why Bitcoin community here is  becoming bigger day by day. Unfortunately, I already had converted all my Bitcoins into fiat money because an emergency happened to me but when I reallize I am okay then I bought something good for my family. I do hope that it will come unto a time that my country will be like that of Japan. I know that Bitcoin enthusiasts in countries that banned cryptocurrencies are now planning to move or settle in Japan or into any neighboring countries that does not prohibit the use and trade of Bitcoins.

I try always to earn more .but sometimes i have to pay my bills by btc .but i earn more buy trading btc rather than paying bills.when it price drops i buy it and when price increase i use them to pay my bills :-)

I don't daytrade I just hold for the long term. I think using Bitcoin is a "bad investment" as Bitcoin for sure is gonna be the future.

I don't think the lack of acceptance is an issue nor the amount of hoarding because majority of the coins are being circulated and a lot of the bitcoins are yet to be mined. In terms of usage it can be easily used and converted to cash even in here in our country which is considered to be third world country and bitcoin is somewhat not really popular I still benefit a lot with bitcoin and even use it to pay my bills sometimes when I'm short on my budget.

When I badly need money I use my bitcoin and convert it to fiat, I haven't use bitcoin to do transaction though I can directly use it to pay bills or buy load for myself. But maybe one of these days I will try it just to know how it will go.

I am using my bitcoin when I am already out of budget. I encash it in the bank they converted it automatically into fiat so it is easy for me to spent when I need something to buy or to pay. It is easy to use if you already know techniques on using it. But it is better if we just hold it for long time. But I just can't help it since I really need it badly so I need to encash most of it.
