Your transaction has actually taken place on the correct block chain and you sent your coins to wallet address CQ1wXJx81Gba1KzoKy2gBRP27JRTBzSWn8 which is probably created by c-cex. They should still have the wallet that contains that address and in your case your coins should be actually save, ... that is if they choose to correct their wallet onto the correct block chain.

Yes, if they sent to new wallet they should be posted on Your balance when we put wallet back online.

Thank You for Your opinions. I just want to make one thing clear: it is not a situation when we just missed important update. We did update from links of the thread exsists even now. But I had no idea that owner was changed and new thread was started. I also did not get any notification from owner or developer like I usually get from other coins. I just open btctalk - found source link and update. I did everything required from me. So I think this situation is very much different. That's why I started this discussion.

This is indeed a tough dilemma.

In the future the devs should make sure all exchanges are notified.

As for this loss, whatever is decided by the devs is ok with me.

So I am going to lay down a few items here..

I definitely appreciate both sides (Community and C-Cex) in terms of response and involvement.

C-cex dev has made an effort to communicate with me on skype and make contact with the csc dev's. Goldseal has done a great job of communicating with me as well and keeping me updated through this.

I do want to note a message I received from C-Cex support (I do have more from Skype to prove mistakes)

C-CEX.com support <no-reply@c-cex.com>
Jun 18 (8 days ago)

to me
Withdrawals made prior to 17/06 made from old wallet and goes to wrong forked blockchain. We are already negotiating to find solution with new CSC owners. Our goal is to get compensation for users made withdrawals after may,19 when fork occured and nobody was informed about it. Please, give us some time and we will find funds to refund this invalid withdrawals.

*NOTHING CAME OF THIS*

I am out 107,336.35 CSC coins. My Wallet CWoydPBNMifhpShiLQ5d68H69Z4bGJV1yd

Stumbled across this:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exCX2gdpZUs
Just look at that CSC Price.

Heading up to the cottage for the long weekend here in Canada, ill be back Tuesday and have some important updates for Wednesday!
Anyone with some PHP experience if you are able to add some things to a basic popup for casinocoin.org that would be great.
When a user visits the popup will show(it will cache and have ability to not popup if chosen) the casinocoin price, hashrate, difficulty, and some other important links will be on here(this is not the wed update either! Grin)

Please DO NOT Solicite Services to my PM Unless they are to support Casinocoin.

Leasons learned for the dev team is to make sure alle pools and exchanges are aware of forks or updates long before they happen as in this case we seamed to have missed C-CEX!

Well, to improve the release process, we added a opt-in mailing list to be used to broadcast updates from dev when needed. If you hadn't had a chance, please consider signing up. Both mailing lists are listed in the first post.

If you would like to support Casinocoin development, please consider contributing BTC to : 1NGvxkdQra41xcy7JWnucnLg7nV169p8js
These funds will be used to pay for external development.

Re: C- CEX and missing CSC coins.

I'm one of the C-CEX users that lost CSC coin while trying to withdraw them.  When notified of their wallet update, I made another withdraw to get my remaining coins.  They never made it either.  I then tested the C-CEX wallet address by sending 5 coins from Cryptsy for deposit.  They are lost as well.  Trusting C-Cex, I did not record my first tx number but do have the others.  I'll include the amounts and addresses at the end of my post.

HOWEVER, here is my argument considering "diluting" CSC.  That is faulty logic.  The coins were mined and created.  The are legit and have a record on the blockchains up until the time I purchased them and tried to withdraw them.  They were sent "somewhere".  If that chain or fork is now obsolete and thereby not accounting for the documented coins, nothing would be "diluted" by moving those transaction records to the currently now "condensed" blockchain.  Its a matter of balancing, not of double dipping.  We just want our rightful credit just as any of you would should the next wallet update "misplace" your CSC holdings.  We have a right to what we mined or purchased...nothing more and nothing less.

The question of who is to blame for the negligence of these losses is another matter. But, balancing the ledger to account for missing documentable coins should not be unfair to anyone.  It is simply putting things right and accounting all legitimate holdings and transactions, and a documentable transaction missed during an update or fork should not disqualify it's legitamacy.  They are not countetfeit transactions or coins.

I do know this:  NO ONE would want to buy or invest in a currency with a reputation for vanishing during transactions and having no remedy for fair compensation, and NO ONE would want to trade ANY currency on an exchange with a reputation for losing it's clients investments and leaving them without remedy.  Currency is backed by faith and trust, and businesses that do not earn faith and trust will not survive.

How could I or anyone trust that our winnings or coin purchases made from a  Casino Coin ATM in Vegas would be a secure transaction if there is a history of unresolved lost transactions?  Same thing for C-Cex.

In short, C-Cex has a duty to properly manage all transactions on it's exchange and to take responsibility misplaced or mismanaged funds under its charge.  The managers of CSC have a duty to ensure that all funds are properly accounted for and allocated to the proper accounts via its wallet software and that any misplaced transactions during a change, malfunction or fork are rightfully validated.

The following are from my confirmation emails from C-Cex and Cryptsy . All but the very  first transaction number are also

I should also add that all coins have the duty to keep their communications up to date.  Old links to obsolete updates or information should be altered or deleted so there will be no confusion in action or understanding.  Failure to do so can lead to clusterfucks just like the current C-Cex mishap.  I've seen obsolete wallet updates on several coin websites and forums.  This simple form of negligence could prove vety costly to a coins success.

c-cex should have coins in the valid chain equivalent to the totals before the fork. Any coins deposited after that date are either non-existent in the valid chain because they were mined after may 19th or would be previously mined coins that are accounted for by other balances. That being said, even if c-cex was to reissue those withdrawals in the new chain, they will not likely have enough coins to cover all the withdrawals plus any balances of CSC held on their books. Unfortunately, c-cex does not have the resources to make everyone whole even if they role back all the transactions to May 19th and try to absorb it on the BTC side.

This is where the discrepancy is for c-cex and we need to keep in mind that any coins mined after May 19th on the invalid chain should have never existed. If the community wants to spontaneously generate 1.3m new coins to bail out c-cex, then this is something that would have to be the result of a general consensus in the CSC community. I'm not comfortable making that kind of decision unilaterally. If anyone has any other ideas or technical solutions that we should discuss as a group, please contribute them to the boards by all means.

Again, I'm refraining from offering an opinion on what I think we should do if anything at all. I'd like this to be something that the community and the people who participate in CSC decide collectively. SO please, keep the discussion coming.

I agree the other thread started by transcoder is a serious issue and will confuse people. However, keep in mind that transcoder has disappeared without a trace and a fork was absolutely necessary to fix the KGW exploit. We have no way to remove it and have been unsuccessful to date in getting the bitcointalk admins to remove the old thread. In an effort to mitigate issues with disseminating dev updates we've created a new mailing list and we also strongly encourage services such as c-cex to implement additional fraud controls to detect suspicious wallet activity. In this particular case, c-cex could have flagged exploitation of a possible fork by detecting that the price on their exchange was significantly different from the price on cryptsy or by performing regular deposits and withdrawals with cryptsy.

Hello all,

I decided to make a pool for CasinoCoin on my poolsite, and I wanted to share it with you guys!

Introducing:
1% Fees, Stratum, High Uptime, Events!!

Once the fees build up a bit I'm open to doing block-finding events and other promotions. So let me know what you guys would like! If anyone from the community or a dev would like to donate in the future to sponser and event, again PM me or email me (addy on pool-site). Happy mining guys

(PS: The dashboard has some wonkiness going on with the retargetting, I'm looking into how to fix that, but it won't effect mining at all)

So we're doing the big update in a week?  Great timing, right before Bitcoin starts its big move.

Job well done.

Yeah we need to finish the following between now and then:

1.) build the clients for windows, mac, and linux
2.) test client sync as a last check
3.) setup some new seeds
4.) get a press release written
5.) send an update out on the mailing list
6.) get casinocoin.org updated

We don't have the exact day picked, but tentatively it'll be in a week. Enjoy the ride folks. I'd expect a choppy week. Lots of speculators out there starting to notice evidently.
