Looks Like https://coinnext.com/ is up and running.

Their order book is building.

I was able to deposit coins and put them up for sale.

First trade went through at .00000550.

Nice.  That looks like a respectable exchange.  But I still think mintpal is a good one to get on.  A lot of very high volume traders are on there.

CSC devs are making all the right moves so I think things should start falling into place very soon.

Contacted mintpal and frankly the voting looks like an outright extortion deal. The person I talked to (Jason) said he wouldn't even consider adding casinocoin for a outright payment, insisting that it may (not definitive) be added only if we managed to become the top coin on the voting page, meaning we would have to pay them several bitcoin for votes. I think we're best spending our energy on other ways to promote the coin and improve it's acceptance at places that aren't trying to squeeze money out of opensource projects.

Wow, what a bunch of scammers.  I had no idea they operated that way.

Yeah, let's move on, plenty of great exchanges out there now.

Sent a support ticket into c-cex with the new github location, homepage for them to update in their listing, and the subscription form for the mailing lists. Hopefully, we can get them all on the mailing list for notifications. It'll make our release process smoother down the road.

BTW, sent a request into bittrex to see if Rami would consider adding Casinocoin. Bittrex is a much more popular exchange than Mintpal anyway.

Regarding the Atm concept, I put inquiries into this company for the two guys I met. Seems this company makes general ATMS with QR scanners and they have a bitcoin firmware already. I'm going to see if they can adapt it for casinocoin. If possible, I'll post the info here in case you guys want to drop some ATM's of your own. Wink

Already got a reply about 3 days ago:

"Thanks for the request. We have a large list of coins but can only launch a few per day. If you would like to see your coin traded, follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. We respond to creative and insightful posts to help market your favorite coins and Bittrex.

Thanks,

Bill @ Bittrex

The idea behind all the cryptos is that at some point in time when the last coin is mined the miners will make their money with the transaction fees. Until a coin is widely accepted the amount of transactions is still low and thus a coin will loose the interest of miners in the future. I would opt for keeping the amount of coins the same but reduce the block reward to lengthen the period of time the miners will receive block rewards to give the coin a better chance of surviving in the long run. Just my two cents ...

Hey everyone,

Really need some help here, am new to CSC coins. My wallet is not sync-ing, error msg "no available blocks found", this is my 1st time trying to use a CSC wallet.

Done the steps in adding the casino.conf file in C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\CasinoCoin folder and the logs shows me this error now.

Did you use conf file from 1st post? If not, create casinocoin.conf in  C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\CasinoCoin and paste config there.

I have helped him already via PM and replace the .conf file. But nothing seems to work. So I told him to ask for help here.

I think it is something with the refusal of connectivity in some way.

I our conversation this came along:

Bitcoin is going Global with only 21 million total coins and only half mined right now.

Can you think of just 1 good reason why any niche-market coin [not global] would ever need 15 times the amount of coins Bitcoin needs to succeed?

And you do realize casino coin is in a hyper inflation stage right now. Nothing you do will keep the price up because too many cheap to free coins flood the market and with a massive 336 million coin cap any investor with half a brain will run away, realizing this inflation will only get worse and last many years.

This renders CasinoCoin as nothing more than a trading coin, something you pump and dump once in a while.

No coin in the world, not even a global one needs more than 63 million coins, ever, and even that is excessive and no coin can survive with hyper inflation but the devs have now fixed that issue, along with the Max hard cap.

Regards...

Is it only with the casinocoinwallet? Maybe test it with a wallet of another coin, if it has the same problem, maybe it is something with connectivity of yours.

My wallet version 1.2 working still well with enough connections. What you can do to help syncing is: Put in this (see below) in a texteditor and make sure it is saved as casinocoin.conf and not casinocoin.conf.txt. Place it in C:/user/Appdata/Roaming/Casinocoin folder. (If that folder is hidden, than unhide with Mapoptions). After that open the wallet again and it should be syncing.
