looks good yes, but how do you turn off the sound ? (because it is somewhat irritating, especially when you are looking a video)

If you want to turn off sound, use the command line argument -nosound when you start the wallet  Smiley

is the dev are chinese?

Yeah who are the devs exactly? How many are working on the coin, and where about's in the world do you live?

There are 2 of us full time. My background is CTO in tech startups and the dev is a heavy-weight software eng, the tech is his baby, for me I recognize a great dev with a good tech and want to see it succeed.  We both believe in decentralization and anonymity and want to help that however we can.  I'm based in the UK, we are not a Chinese coin, but remember China is a great potential market for Talkcoin as Asian cultures have massive uptake in IM and messaging apps like QQ etc, and the more Chinese connections we can build the better I think. Smiley

That's good to know, thanks for the info, i'm based in London myself,

- I was wondering what people would think about possibly changing the ticker from (TAC) to (TALK) - there used to be a taki coin and so people seen discussing tac may not understand its talkcoin, then again it might not be necessary..

I'm also wondering what the devs future plans are, and whether they have some long term goals? So many devs end up dropping the ball after a few months at the first whiff of profit and move on,  yet the devs with long term goals who stick around and expand on their coin really end up creating something much larger, I'm hoping Talkcoin can be such a coin,
-if so it would need more dev helpers perhaps and a larger community, but to buy into that dream people would have to know some of the long term ideas...

so many exchange hits TAC!What happened?

Exchanges are adding TAC of their own accord I think.

I transferred a small amount of TAC to CoinNext to test the market, waited a few hours, it didn't show, now site seems down.

I would hold off using these guys for the time being...

Hey, There was no bug or malfunction whatsoever. We launched Talkcoin before our blockchain was fully done syncing, that is why there was a small delay of around 1 hour before people got their TAC, apologies for that.

We have now received over 50.000 TAC that have been succesfully deposited by traders, and we have a very active market https://coinnext.com/trade/TAC/BTC

I know it can be hard to trust a new exchange, and we don't expect it immediatly, but do give us a chance. If you have ever an issue, you can email me sebastian@coinnext.com and I will take care of it personally.

Every time I log in I get 500 Internal Server error.  I waited 8 hours for my TAC deposit to show up before I started getting the login errors, it wasn't there... I will email you now...

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...
