30Ghs nethash Sad. No longer profitable but I addicted to TAC and don't want to mine other coin Sad

I agree.. I don't know what else to mine.. Sad

Do we need more publicity? I think this can double SO so easily. The problem is I'm poor and dont have enough BTCs haha.

I'm still mining Talkcoin not because profitability, but because NIST5, cold GPUs, low consumption, and support the coin and this community that I really like.

I've been mining TAC with 6 R9 290xs for over 6 weeks! My electricity bill dropped from $600 USD mining scrypt coins to about $200 USD mining NIST5.

Forget going back to scrypt! TAC is awesome, even if payout is low now...it will adjust in a few days!

Great coin dev.

to those thinking about bull rushing TAC... i'd advise you to wait for

1) for the cloak pump to settle
2) wait for me to accumulate more
3) weekend is approaching

Totally agreed. Too fast growth in short period of time without any new features is dangerous, not a healthy growth.
Btw, I disagreed with the 2.  Grin

I have updated the windows binaries file (it doesn't concern the first one which was released).
It was using a less optimized kernel for nist5 (I forgot to delete the old binary file when I tested it...)

This one contains also kernels for X11/X13 working with 14.6

I think there's a misunderstanding in terms of total supply for this coin.. I think there should be more clarification, as there's only ~4mil at the moment.

and in my opinion, this coin should've started at ~10k and should be trading at 15k-20k.

Delete everything in your APPDATA/Talkcoin folder EXCEPT the wallet.dat file. Do a backup from this file to another folder.
Download the wallet from
http://talkcoin.org/talkcoin-qt.zip
It should be running.

Dude I can't thank you enough.

I was struggling yesterday to configure my miner cause what's written at the beginning of this thread wasn't helping and I managed to get my rig last night to 4 MHs per GPU on my R9-280x-es but with your compiled miner and your config I'm getting 14MHs+ per GPU

I cannot get this stable at all with my 280x's Could you share your conf? Would really appreciate it. Get dead/sick workers and windows crashes

Have you made sure your time zone is set correctly in your system clock? I had that issue from time to time with my miners if I forget to reset my time zone when I re install windows.

Ouch. You're still mining scrypt nowadays? Even with such high electricity price? Poor boy.  Sad

I've been running x11 for a while now, before I discovered TAC, I did a bit of mining NAUT, hadn't ran Scrypt on my farm for a good few months.

I tell you what, it felt like the world was coming to an end... I quickly swapped back to x11 I couldn't punish my video cards like that anymore...

Run intensity 20, core clock 1050, memclock 775... Nothing else...

Go up in steps of 10 on core clock until you find breaking point...

Anyone else notice diff is at 230 and network hashrate is starting to look like a proper coin?

The signs are very pleasing, the force is strong in this one...

To miners: unless you get free electricity.. selling it even at the current price is a loss to you.

To those skeptical: Don't underestimate the power of decentralized communication. Though not completely correlative, WhatsApp sold for $19 Billion to FB.
