when can i download the wallet

The wallet wont be available for quite a while, but I'm hopeful we can design, and implement a successful registration process quite quickly. Once the registration process is complete we will issue 'Kora tokens' on the NXT asset exchange as an interim solution, and while Kora tokens aren't coins in a wallet, you will be able to trade your Kora assets and spend them very easily using the NXT ecosystem.

I'm strongly leaning towards subbing out the distribution of the 'Kora tokens' on the NXT AE to a trusted third party. If someone like anon136 is available I would pay that party a commission (in Kora) to create the Kora assets and act as the asset issuer, and so the trusted third party would send out the Kora tokens to the stakeholders.

The trusted third party issuer would then be responsible for receiving back the Kora tokens and sending out Kora coins to stakeholder wallets after the Qora source code is released, and the Kora dev team has completed the cloning procedure.

It's best that all the Kora assets are issued by someone with a high level of 'trust'. The same goes for the person sending out the Kora coins, so its obvious to use the same person for both tasks - issue assets & then later receive those assets back & send out Kora coins to stakeholders.

the thread title is [ANN] Kora::100% POS|Qora Clone|Free & Fair ~3k users|issued NXT AE asap
so the so called 'Kora tokens' is free?

The 'Kora tokens' will be issued to the people on the registration stakeholder list for free, YES! People wont pay for their stake, that is correct.

I expect many will start trading as soon as they get their 'Kora tokens' though, so within a short time period I expect the market will set a value in NXT (and therefore all other coins tradeable via the NXT ecosystem) very soon after release, so as soon as they're released I expect the Kora coins to have a 'value', so anyone buying them AFTER the initial distribution will pay the market price.

Very similar to many other coins - ShareCoin, CoffeeCoin, EnergyCoin etc etc

IPO's are bad news IMO. Best idea is to give the coins away fairly for free in a way that minimises fraud and multiple accounts, and then use a small % for development.

I like this idea. Have you considered just using the NEM stakeholder list? You would have 3k users now if you did that!

about the sockpuppet countermeasures
you may want to use KryptKoin method instead of sharecoin
as KryptKoin developer is checking the dup IPs, very similar IPs, very similar usernames, similar emails ...etc
if you want to make a fair distribution for 3000 users, i think you will need a trusted team for checking every details of every user
it's not easy but it makes your coin much fairer than most of other free IPOs out there
good luck anyway
i'm interested in this coin and love to see its growing
