Any update , how much registrations still needed to reach 3000 ?
New (valid) registrations have just become fewer and fewer. The first two 48 hours were an explosion, now it has almost reached a total stop. I've calculated that at this current rate we might reach 3000 valid applications about 1 year from now. So um yeah. I'd suggest we just go ahead and decide for an end date instead. Close the list, then I (and perhaps Kora) can actually start reviewing each application. As previously mentioned we got 1100+ entries to plow through. How about we close the form this thursday? 07/03.I agreed the deadline, but we need nearly 5~7 days for the community to complete, for those new guys to inform and learn the core purpose of kora and qora.

Nice looking project! Unfortunately I will be on the outside looking in because reading the forum for 6 mo. is not as valuable as registering and posting once. But it is what it is… I have made myself valuable for the future Good Luck anyway!

Everything above 1500 members is great for Kora. Node (NXTL) is waiting 3 months for +1200 users NEM has a about 3000 stakeholders, but there is right to have 2 stakes (one person, 2 btt account)
right. If finally Kora declaim 3000 stakeholders have been gathered, we believe that at least half of them are sockpuppets .

I have a question: Over 1 month, kora still not enough 3000 person. Will everyone have to continue to wait?
We don't really have an answer to this question yet. What would you like to happen? This is a good reply to a good question. That's the kind of networking interaction that we need. I say 'we' because Kora's and Mac Red's approach make me feel that this is an inclusive group forming. My approach has been to tell as may people that I know, that there are interesting things happening in Koraland, and that it is easy to get involved: "As a matter of fact, it is free, except the time that you spend on it. The reward might be that you learn something, you might meet new people and there is a small chance you might actually become a millionaire." At this point, the eyes of teenagers usually light up. That's when I say: "One day, You will also be able to say that you were there, when then new currencies were being developed." When they show interest, I suggest starting to read Bitcointalk, and join, and I add one more perspective: "Remember not to spend more than you can afford to lose. Trust nobody. " (except maybe Kora, Mac Red, maxmint, anon136, Mrrr, ok, most hero members..... ) Pentamon

Kora has a lead developer I am very pleased to report that nioccoin has agreed to join Kora and will set the technical direction for us from now on. I'll leave it for nioccoin to say more on his plans later, but for now I just want to say how excited I am to have nioccoin join us. I think closing the registration on Thursday 07/03 is ok. Now that we have a lead dev we might get a few more registrations, but IMO we have enough to start Kora. We will have to decide what to do with any left over stakes. Options would be: 1- distribute to existing stakeholders 2- use for bounties 3- keep in trust and open up registrations again later when Kora is better known What do people think?
