We will be making at least two trips to that area, so we can keep transportation costs low (if you just want storage) or zero (if you choose to host with us).
cashmere is like a 12/15 minute drive from your datacenter, i hope you arent charging much for that trip. No, we are not in Wenatchee. We are in Grant County, about 80 minutes away. We also aren't charging much for the trip. If we can pick up at least 10 kW at once for people who are hosting with us, we generally don't charge anything at all. If you just want us to pick up and ship your miners out, or if you only have a couple kW of gear, then we will probably charge something close to our costs. Our trip to Wenatchee/Cashmere has been delayed, though, since ASICSPACE didn't label their gear, and the landlord is having trouble identifying what belongs to whom.

Just a quick post to let you all know that we (our hosting facility is on the first post) have 100+kw of capacity that just opened up in our shop. We are located in Labrador just like the Great North Data people. Three cheers for cheap power! We don't have a minimum consumption requirement so we'll accept "small time miners" as long as you don't turn into a support nightmare; in that case we'll toss your gear in the Atlantic Ocean - kiiiddiing! You guys know what to do if interested. Cheers, and happy mining to you all.

Hello, I am searching for miner hosting and have been looking through your list and had some comments. It seems many of these hosts are outdated and in need of removal. For example at the top of your list under Canada I only see two that still appear to exist. allinvain's hosting and great north data. bitcoinserverhosting and cryptominer.ca webpages no longer exist and blacksun's pricing is so out of date ($160 a month for an sp10?) I assume they are no longer working either. I have not managed to check all the list but scanning the prices many more seem so high they must have also stopped updating because they are out of business. example bitsmelter wants $120/kw/mth which is far out of touch from the double digit prices being offered by other hosters now. the asicspace website is still up but in this thread called STAY AWAY FROM ASICSPACE https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1036376.0 their customers report they can't even contact them. their profile says their last post was 5 months ago in april: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=342439;sa=showPostsI appreciate that you have put lots of work into this list and I do not mean to impose but is it possible to clean this list up and remove old/outdated entries? perhaps hosters should have to post an update every 6 months to stay on the list (even if the update is that there is no price change)? this might also be too much to ask but perhaps could they be sorted by price? it might be easier to link to a google spreadsheet or something similar that would allow people to sort by country or price or whatever column they choose. It would make it easier for someone like myself who is looking for hosting. thank you again sir for all your work, it is much appreciated

minor directory clean up; thanks for posting dead URLs.
I do not re-check every URL/listing, so if anyone finds any erroneous listings, please let me know.
We seem to be lacking in feedbacks on service providers. I encourage all to post their experiences with Bitcoin mining hardware hosting providers.

I might as well mention we're finally getting the infrastructure upgrade I had planned on implementing this past spring. Once it's in place I'll have about 60KW available at $65/KW-month, should be taking effect December 1st. As always that's a no-minimum-draw non-contract rate, and includes VPN remote access, and we'll probably have promotional discounts on power supplies for new customers as well.

Directory trimmed; Trimmings dumped here...
QG
Are you associated with a USA hosting facility? The reason I ask is the list was originally in alphabetical order which put Asia first but now the list is still in alphabetical order except that USA has been put on the top of the list rather than the bottom where it belongs. Outward appearance is you put USA at top of list so they are more likely to be seen. Makes this list seem like a sales pitch instead of objective directory. I cannot think of a reason why you would risk your reputation unless you were receiving some benefit from it like owning shares in one of the USA companies or they made you a payment of money to put USA on top. Is there a legitimate reason why USA suddenly has priority over all other places in the world?

My guess would be the plurality of English-speaking bitcoin miners are in USA, and so are most of the listed facilities, so listing USA first is convenient for the largest number of people?
If I'm remembering right, QG is Australian.

All of the facilities are listed in English so they have at least one representative who speaks English. This directory is also 1.5 year old so why wait so long to make that change? I don't see any complaint in the thread that would ask for that change either. If I'm remembering right, QG is Australian.
Which makes it even more suspicious because "national pride" is not what makes him do this, although that would be a terrible reason for the list change also. Just because he is Australian does not mean he can not own shares of USA host or have been paid by USA host to make the change which is why I asked if he was willing to admit to any association with one of them. We can both speculate as to why but the only one who can say for sure why he made the change is QG so hope he can make a statement explaining why.

What difference does it make? Are you really suggesting that someone would choose a host from the US even though they need one in Asia just because the list is sorted that way? What about them poor United Kingdomanians then, those will never get to their list of hosts according to your logic. Would you be happier if QG put "AMERICA, UNITED STATES OF" at the top?

Or we can stop speculating and move on. You need to buy a dictionary. I asked QG to explain. That is not speculation. What difference does it make? I thought it was clear but let me break it down a bit more for you. This list is useful if it is unbiased. If it has now become a paid promotional tool it loses all credibility and becomes a marketing tool. If one USA host is paying to manipulate this list we can not trust the information on other hosts to be accurate. Are you really suggesting that someone would choose a host from the US even though they need one in Asia just because the list is sorted that way? It is very clear that I am not maybe you should read my writing again. What about them poor United Kingdomanians then, those will never get to their list of hosts according to your logic. Again your reading skills need work if that is what you got from my writings. Would you be happier if QG put "AMERICA, UNITED STATES OF" at the top?
No, I would be happy for my question to be answered, which is why was this change suddenly made after a year and a half with no explanation?

You built your whole conspiracy on a false premise that this list is to be trusted. It isn't. It even says that in the OP: Please do your own due-diligence when engaging a hosting provider. Anyone can submit a listing and feedback and little to no authenticity or legitimacy is vetted. So much for your reading comprehension and "not speculation".
