How do you get this into BAMT?
I've used this tutorial for vertminer

Link to a Windows version compiled from this source code. Note, I have not inspected the source code. This was compiled as-is. https://www.dropbox.com/s/skv74wv378h5qnl/sgminerx11.rar

Tips are appreciated. Let me know if it runs or not.

File was incomplete, missing kernel
Oops, sorry. I was accustomed to releasing only binaries from other projects I totally forgot. Fixing now. Try it now. https://www.dropbox.com/s/skv74wv378h5qnl/sgminerx11.rar

same for me. when i dl the compiled Windows Version from dropbox and check it with bitdefender, he instantly destroys the *.rar file. strang that noone else complains...?
and the donwloadlink from http://cryptomining-blog.com/2496-new-sgminer-fork-for-x11-mining-with-higher-performance/ is completely blocked by bitdefender.
I can assure you this is merely a false positive, a lot of people have used my version and nobody has complained of missing coins.

Does this miner support the api-listen command ?

CGWatcher seems to be unable to access the miner.

thanks for replying!

ya i know that false positives happen often when it Comes to cryptocurrencies, especially the wallets (or the now found DOS Virus signature in the BTC blockchain :-D ). but your Version is my first miner that gives out a warning when scanning it. strange that there aren't more ppl caring bout that.

Dear Lord, please grant me the ability...

290x/win7 x64/13.12cat
before(2%-version): -w 256 -tc 20481 -g 1 -I 21 -----> 3.85mhs
after(free-version): -w 256 -tc 20481 -g 2 -I 15   ----->2.75mhs
no way for -g 1/-w64/-w128-parameters - it`s always 2.6mhs or less Cry

PS What are the optimal settings for 290x/290?
I still think that the lack off "-I" (crash of miner when "-I" is above 15) is the main issue in reaching more mhs.  Roll Eyes

Unfortunately, I haven't any 290x card.
Try to raise -g parameter.
Your worksize is too high.  Here's what I use:

Sapphire 290x and use the following to get 3.475M:
kernel: x11mod
intensity: 15
worksize: 128
lookup-gap: 2
thread-concurrency: 8192  (I had better luck with lower TC, probably because we are using multiple threads)
gpu-threads: 6
gpu-engine: 1050  (1075 works for a slight improvement and 1100 crashes my driver)
gpu-memclock: 1250
gpu-powertune: 0

Let me know how that goes or if you find a better settings.
290x @960/1300
-I 15 -w 128 -tc 8192  -g 5 - gives me only 3,320mhs (-g 6 - gives the crash)
therefore it`s better to use 2%-version (-I 21 -w 128 -tc 20481 -g 1 @3.920mhs/960core-1300mem) for me until something else is ready to work with -I>15.

I'm getting almost 3.8MH/s per 290x and 2.7MH/s per R9 280x. SGMiner is showing speeds
at roughly 10%-50% increases, but I'm still not sure of this information. Not seeing such speeds
reflected by Betarigs.  Still going to try it for 24 hours or so and see what happens.

I had 8.8mh/s with the old darkcoinminer and now 12mh/s and it's also shown at betarigs.

good job, tested one 7950

2% ver 2,735 Mh
Code:
-k darkcoin -g 1 --thread-concurrency 8192 --intensity 18 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-memclock 1250 --gpu-powertune 10

-X11mod 2,730 Mh
Code:
-k x11mod -I 15 -w 256 --gpu-threads 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-memclock 1250 --gpu-powertune 20

Tried these settings on my Sapphire 7950 and didn't work. So I'm running it 'as is' right now, with the provided config (changed pool ofcourse).

I'm getting 2.3 - 2.4 Mh/s vs. 1.8 Mh/s normally Smiley

What I do notice is that my card runs at 59 degrees now vs. 71 before. Does that mean I should be able to push it more?

this one is 7950 gigabite, try use 14,3 or 14,4 drivers

I have the latest. Upped engine to 950 now, still looks stable. 2.4Mh/s+

gpu-engine up to 1000, still good. 2.5 Mh/s+

0. Use "kernel" : "x11mod" in config file or -k x11mod via command line.
1. Do not use intensity higher than 15.
2. In case of instability please set a little bit lower engine frequency than a original sgminer.
3. Tested only on Ubuntu x64 14.04 and BAMT..
4. Tested only on R9 280x and R9 270x.

This release is bad for 290/x owners.  Something is obviously different between this and the 2% fee miner, because this one crashes at intensity above 15 and the 2% fee one did not.  Unfortunately, I cannot use anything above -g 3 without getting Error -4, so I need the correct intensity setting to work to get a decent hash rate.

That makes this miner bad for 290 owners until the author fixes the intensity bug.  You will not get the 3.7mh+ on this miner until it is fixed.

Can someone please provide a link to the 2% version so I can test it against this on my 290x's.

Please keep us updated on 290 support.  As is....there is little or no increase in hashrate on 290's.

Do you then have to start the new sgminer using a bat file or is it integrated into the bamt functioning?
