I don't think my gpu ( 290) can do 4.0 MH/s. I think 290x only can do 4.0 Mh/s.

290x is not worth it in general, too expensive and low increase in hash

Using newest windows binary my 290 is way better but my 7850 in the same machine is less than half the speed, 290 was 2.76 and 7850 was 1.70 now 290 is 3.69 and 7850 is 633khs

Alright, please test this version for the intensity fix https://www.dropbox.com/s/skv74wv378h5qnl/sgminerx11.rar. Thanks to leasybear for pointing out where the problem was, then I went to the 2% miner and looked up some values he was using and incorporated those in the miner, again, thanks to lasybear.

This still seems to be crashing my driver instantly on my R9 290s.  The 2% one has never crashed the display driver with the same config so idk what's the reason.

Please try --gpu-threads 1 or 2, -w 128 --thread-concurrency 8192 for old card (58xx, 68xx, 78xx).

Getting SICK card warnings pretty easy (about 60 minutes) on my TRI-X OC R9 290X cards.

Heat/ventilation not an issue.

Anyway you can back up the SICK warning to 120 seconds instead of 60?

This is with gpu-threads 1, I am experimenting with threads 2 right now.

this miner works....in a funky way.

2 of my near-identical rigs now are different from each other. 1 can pull more than the other..

the only difference is the cpu. 1 with sempron, 1 with fx4130. The one with 4130 is ~1.5 mh/s faster.
