I get that you guys don't like DRK, but my question is why spend so much time focusing on it? I come into the XC thread wanting to read about XC, and I only see people talking about DRK.

The truth is there are some dumb XC fanboys, just like there are dumb fanboys for everycoin. Who cares, dont associate these fanboys with the actual developers and teams behind the coins.

I don't see anything in the DRK thread except DRK related conversations. Sure, you can cherry pick a few posts here or there, but in here you have DRK talk on nearly every page. Just looks weird.

Go back a few hundred pages and you would see DRK trolls attacking and fudding every other post. I guarantee you theyll be back after Rev2 is released. I guess its only natural to protect ones investment by attacking competition. Yea its scummy, but rampant in crypto right now because the game is run on greed atm. Who knows.

Don't be fooled by brilliantrocket, he's attempting FUD by his comments too. He's one of the classic drk fudsters along with propulsion, stealth923, tsuki, AlexGR, and Chaeplin. It's sad I have all their names memorized but that goes to show how much they spam repeat FUD on XC

It does nobody any good and it trashes this thread. Even if it's true that they start FUD first, why would this amount to a reason to talk about DRK? It doesn't, because it brings on an avalanche of FUD. Avoiding FUD-avalanches is a strong reason to avoid talking about DRK.

Most importantly, talking about DRK devalues the community. This sort of quick competitor-bashing is reactive, negative in tone, and it's cheap talk. Let's not forget how valuable the community is to XC - and let's act with this awareness in mind. How we conduct ourselves, and the substance of our conversation, make a huge difference to the public perception of XC.

Let's prioritise maintaining a positive and genuinely informative thread. And let's be a community of value.

I was talking about post Rev. 3 and official launch out of "beta". The roadmap puts this short-term so more exited about that then the 7th of july

But I will also pop a bottle on the 7th

instead of fighting and bickering -  this community needs to move in a positive direction.  Collaboration is much more effective

There are so many real scam coins out there, and only a few real developers trying to innovate in this space.

DRK and XC Communities,

The toxic back and forth between our two communities has reached a level with which neither of us are comfortable or impressed.  The competitive space for our coins lies in the results, and the results will speak for themselves as they are brought online.  Whatever mistakes or provocations were undertaken by either side are in the past, and we would like them to remain there.  We are all interested in one thing: the advancement of anonymous cryptocurrency.   Let go of the tribalism and start thinking of how you can positively contribute to that end.
