"XC releases revolutionary secured privacy technology... price falls."
"VRC releases veribit feature to dump VRC for BTC... price rises."
Needless to say, the world is full of idiots. But idiots can only suppress true innovation in the short-term. Soon, global attention and crowdfunding will come pouring into XC. And it will no longer be ignored or suppressed by shitcoins & idiots.
I already told this: XC only lives in this thread. To bring here global attention its needed to invest in PR campaign globally . Large investors don't mind about XC, whales took profits and got out on vacation, summer is in full swing, look at polo volume, as example; everyone bought enough when XC was in solid 100k accumulation stage, and now just dumping to turn some in fiat for holiday at the seaside. I agree. Advertising is key. I just posted this to synec a couple of pages back: "The development is going from strength to strength at astonishing speed. Countless encouraging announcements and things to look forward to in the future (exceeding my expectations greatly). And you of course, do a great job eloquently explaining XC to the masses. However, the one thing I would like to see more focus on is advertising. If you have something great, advertising works. IMO we shouldn't just hope to "go viral". I believe Practico donated towards a press release and there have been other donations collected. Do we have a strategy in place for marketing and what time line will that be adhering to? If not, I think it's as important as the technical developments that we work on a robust marketing strategy." I honestly think we should make marketing as equally as important as development. That's not meant as a criticism of what's being done so far, everything is amazing. But I think without marketing, it's like trying to bake a cake without all the necessary ingredients. We'll make nice progress just on sheer technical developments alone, but we can magnify that times 10 if we promote it correctly.

In order for the private mode to work with this release, you must have have UNPNP enabled on your router OR have the port mapped correctly inbound -- this will be resolved in a future release Can I suggest changing to "Enable XCend" ? Hmm.. I'm open to suggestions on this topic... XCend sounds pretty good, I like it.

[perception that we don't emphasise marketing]
Yes we have a marketing strategy. Of course we do. I mean, just this week we launched a website, rebranded Twitter, launched a Facebook page, recruited a digital and social marketing guy from Microsoft and Adidas... I mean, do you expect more? Don't worry about it. Trust me when I say that the public will hear about XC.

Requires UNPNP or Port Forwarding of TCP:32348. Can someone please explain to a noob like me how to do those things please? Thank you Settings>options>network>tick box mark UPnP and that is it correct? It is already set up by default in the wallet I don't believe your setup correctly, so it is not going to work the best to validate to is to go to ipchicken.com, get your ipaddress and then port check it for 32348 and then port check it for 32348Sorry DAN Im at the beginning with those things.. How do I do that? you do that the following: Google --> "port checker" --> Choose any Website you like and insert the given port number (32348) and press "go"

Dear Lord, please grant me the ability...

I like the current "Enable Private Transaction" tick box.
It does need to be moved to the main page and not left on coin control.

I agree with it being moved to the main page in future updates. All in all very happy about the new update and EM testing starting tonight!

I'm sure this has been asked already, so my apologies for being behind, but...
Do we need to sign up again in order to use the revamped forum? I had signed up for the old one weeks ago and today my login details are not working...

It did not work I went to http://www.canyouseeme.org/ but it gave me an error Error: I could not see your service on <IP Adress> on port (32348) Reason: Connection timed out 192.168.0.1 192.168.1.1 router! what's that? Explain as I never done something like that.. im checking for a software to download to open the ports of the router as well I have found Port forrward network utilities 2.0.1 is that safe to download? any suggestion? until now I just plugged the ethernet to the router I never installed it Not easy to explain or assist in the config from the outside. If you have never done something like this before maybe it's better to wait for the version you do not need to change this config or risk setting your computer wide open. ATC did say: In order for the private mode to work with this release, you must have have UNPNP enabled on your router OR have the port mapped correctly inbound -- this will be resolved in a future release

Nope, can you just straight up not login? Yeah, it doesn't even seem to have record of me having registered because when I go to 'forgot password' and I enter my username and e-mail the system says it can't find an account by that name. Perhaps I should just re-register?

Hi all
If you make a payment in privacy mode, you won't get a confirmation notice and the transaction won't appear under the "Transactions" tab until after the transaction is sent (~30 minutes).
In future updates you will get confirmation. You'll also get progress tracking. For now, you won't.
