I seem to have this issue with the latest wallet where it seems to keep hanging with the the blockchain download. It's resolved by restarting the wallet, until it happens again.
it is P2P, so this will happen, if you let it run it will download Must have been a bad user node I kept connecting too then. Anyway, I got it sorted out as it did complete, and managed to move off all of my XC from MP. Even bought some extra XC because it was moving out of the exchange quicker than BTC. Lesson learned and my coins will just stake and support the network.

Evolution, I'm for freedom of speech but please don't personally attack other members home countries or just don't post anything even remotely racist. Thanks
Would you please explain me the relation between XC coin and the soccer game? If not, what other expectations did you have for my reaction (actually the reaction of the whole planet, except some germs)? Update: Am I a racist just because I cannot stand racism? I don't think you belong in this crypto game because you lack a modicum of logic. What you said was inappropriate and embarassing in an official discussion thread. I was debating on reporting you and i'm neither a fan of Germany nor overly sensitive. I don't care about your opinion. And why should I? What is your modicum of contribution to the human society? Lem me give you a hint - none! Update: btw, who are you to preach my placement in the crypto world (obviously (at least for you) it is just a game, but I am a believer)? Don't you have any pets around you to play with (wife, children, dogs)?

I am going to leave this here - It's clear I am being engaged by a someone of roughly schoolboy age, defending the accusation of being illogical with an adhominem attack. I like a challenge, this isn't one.

Could someone make a complete noob tutorial for making your XC completely 100% safe. Teka you mention you have yours stored very safely what did you do?
Thanks :-)
We made one on the website: http://www.xc-official.com/wallet/Of particular relevance are encrypting your app, backing up your wallet.dat file, and backing up your private keys. Let us know if you have any questions, but the how-to should pretty much sort you out. I clicked on the middle link here and extracted it....wallet is syncing it seems http://downloads.xc-official.com/release/windows/Should I start all over again and follow the steps you linked to?

Based on the feedback you've received so far, (from the investors/testers), are you able to deduce how many days, weeks or months more will be needed for continued "Testing" for REV2? (This is a simple question. unwarranted responses are not wanted).

Okay
downloads.xc-official.com/testing/
rev 1.1 - updated batch file with new testnet node - I will leave this node open all week.
Just to highlight - This release is decentralized ENCRYPTED messaging.. use the included batch file to launch the client
Step #1 - go to receive coins, click on NEW Address - call it "chat"
Step #2 - Goto address book, click new address
- add user's XC Wallet - press enter - right click and hit messages
- from field - click the address book - select the entry you created in step #1 above - to field - click on address book select entry from step #2 - key field - enter remote users pubkey
PUBKEY - to copy your pubkey and provide to users - go to the address you created in step #1, right click and hit copy pubkey
My Test XC Address: mgpkXSAbfmZ1tkqSVnSeMJXwJx77HyZ2up My PUBKEY: nCmoh5bt7ogWujBBQVT7NkpKGPGwLw35uqWCLKBNouL7
Happy testing!!!
Dan
Why it says this address is not a x11 ? ForReal, you are on mainnet, Dan posted his testnet address. You have to run the client in testnet. There is a batch file in the latest release, run it and try again. Thanks a lot It's working now my testnet address: moZAuHFkXFGKGEmxszSKYWgobp8KJPmJvQ public key: 2947E92cwRDLPRupG6tJM1fBB7HrwJWJAyucT98VoKVkM send me a EM anybody !!!!!!!

I am running the most current copy of the Mac wallet and it hasn't been synching properly in several days... Think the download I have is the most recent one from the XC homepage.
Anyone have any ideas of how to remedy this and are any coins at risk because of this?
Glad to be a member of the XC community.
Thanks in advance

the latest XC releases required for the app folder(in windows) to be deleted(because the new folder was named XCurrence instead of X11), run the downloaded wallet, then u had to setup a new conf file, provided in the downloaded folder. I think this is ur problem. Be sure to always backup ur wallet.dat, then try the suggestions.

Copy it into the "XCurrency" folder? I've backed up the wallet. Here is the readme. Sorry to be asking basic questions I just wasn't sure if I would overwrite anything important, etc... Thanks again. Liking the progress with this coin. I think there is a good amount of upside. ""Wallet has Been udpated to match branding... so has your %appdata% - backup wallet.dat This means if you run the wallet, it will create a new directory called XCurrency under %appdata%. Fist run wallet to create directory[then close] or mkdir %appdata%\XCurrency then to copy copy %appdata%\X11Coin\*.* %appdata%\XCurrency\ For Seed Nodes Copy the enclosed XCurrency.conf to your %appdata%\XCurrency\""
