Hey i just tried a VM in virtualbox with the TOR ISO. I get the bootmenu and boot from CD. Then a Ubuntu v14 loadscreen.
Then a black screen with a non blinking cursor. Then it stops. Anyone else has this?
I'll look into it from the technical side, but it would be nice if someone can confirm it works.

I'll look into it from the technical side, but it would be nice if someone can confirm it works.
Loaded for me using Virtualbox. Started the app with out any issues and sent a couple of messages waiting for reply.. Most people gone to bed  Make sure you go with the default option (top one). |

This doesn't belong here. This is a thread about XC. I am sure there is a proper forum in which discussion about that issue should take place, but it's not here. Thanks for discussing at least, and I apologize for bringing up the past discussion, but the shill account by his wife and other scam site "coinsflip.com" that they backed (which was owned by Jasin) shows how he misleads. You are correct though, XC is not Jasin, but Jasin is involved, and will soon have a much larger negative weight to the coin regardless of his past work. I will not mention it again in this thread. One of the very important points that got me interested in XC was Dan's openness. So that is very important to me. It is also important to know about the team, so thanks for bringing this to my attention. I don't know that I believe it as I have not read the other thread or heard the other side of the story |

Just wait for it all to sink in.. Cloak was steady in a range for ages before it popped, I think xc due to the long base situation will do something pretty amazing when we get going now, lots of eyes on us now.

Probably a very low priority topic, just sharing my first impression from the XChat ISO image. While lubuntu works fine, it is not customised and could be confusing for non-tech users. I imagine it simplified in the following way: 1) The system boots without pre-boot menu; 2) Once the auto-login procedure has finished, the XC wallet starts automatically; 3) There are no other GUI applications installed except the XC wallet, web browser, and terminal; 4) Cosmetic details like the XC logo while system boots, backgrounds, etc.; XChat Linux image can be easily "updated" with the help of tools like: http://www.maketecheasier.com/6-tools-to-easily-create-your-own-custom-linux-distro/ |
