any special command to set it up? I would setup a separate wallet, transfer 1000XC into it [chunks of 250 is best], run client with -distmix-autonode on startup. RPC Port forwarding must be working if your behind a Router/Firewall with NAT

Sneak PR preview
- We're awaiting a publication from a certain news site.
- So we won't release the press materials or software until they do.
- But we think it would be a bad idea to keep you waiting even longer to hear about the "CoinJoin killer," so here's a preview in rasterised form.
- Dan will release the software later on tonight regardless.
- The paid PR will go out to coincide with Mintpal 2.0

Whats the News Site? Can U at least tell us that.... Alas, no. ;-)

5And the software!
Some info on today's release, just for clarity:
- We will release the "coinjoin killer", with which we finalise XC's privacy tech, on schedule.
- As with all prior releases of new tech, you can expect updates after the release as we get feedback from you all. Testing in the wild is integral to any successful software. If you encounter an issue, let us know.
- This release is of our privacy tech, which is a "backend" thing. XC's new UI and general user-friendliness is a Rev 2.5 feature, so don't expect mainstream-friendliness yet.
- There'll be paid PR going out, which no doubt will continue to attract the sort of quality investor interest that the XC community is becoming a home for.

but its not the final rev 2.0 release in this update.
I hope I've explained clearly enough above. Trustless multipath mesh networks are the final Rev 2 feature we're releasing. It's here now. Woohoo!

If you guys can stop trolling me and just tell me why we need to test the port to be open , that would be great. Only if your run an XNode with -distmix-autonode, otherwise you don't need it

We need a answer on that because many guy are like me with more than 1000xc but dont want to stop minting the rest of the coin. What the option to run 2 separate wallet (minting wallet and xmixer) on a unique ISP IP ?

Oh, another thing to clarify: The news site will have the scoop on the "CoinJoin killer", but they won't publish today. That actually puts us in a good position for the launch of Mintpal 2.0. We'll have the exclusive, plus the paid PR, all going out in time for the launch. Nice.
