Yes I'm for rea. If you guys can stop trolling me and just tell me why we need to test the port to be open , that would be great. Only if your run an XNode with -distmix-autonode, otherwise you don't need it you need this port open because xnode use it. so if you want to run an xnode you need that port to be open.

Why do we need to test the port ? To see if it is open. Why do we need to see if the port is open ? Are you forReal? Yes I'm for rea. If you guys can stop trolling me and just tell me why we need to test the port to be open , that would be great. the open port is needed for the mixer to function. to sort out firewall configuration problems, you should test if the port is open before reporting problems

Can i change the port of my stacking wallet (putting port=32347 in the conf file) on my PC for been able to use a Xmixer on another PC with this default port (32348) on the same ISP IP ?
We need a answer on that because many guy are like me with more than 1000xc but dont want to stop minting the rest of the coin. What the option to run 2 separate wallet (minting wallet and xmixer) on a unique ISP IP ? run one of the two wallets on tor I suppose?

5And the software!
Some info on today's release, just for clarity:
- We will release the "coinjoin killer", with which we finalise XC's privacy tech, on schedule.
- As with all prior releases of new tech, you can expect updates after the release as we get feedback from you all. Testing in the wild is integral to any successful software. If you encounter an issue, let us know.
- This release is of our privacy tech, which is a "backend" thing. XC's new UI and general user-friendliness is a Rev 2.5 feature, so don't expect mainstream-friendliness yet.
- There'll be paid PR going out, which no doubt will continue to attract the sort of quality investor interest that the XC community is becoming a home for.
Oh, another thing to clarify: The news site will have the scoop on the "CoinJoin killer", but they won't publish today. That actually puts us in a good position for the launch of Mintpal 2.0. We'll have the exclusive, plus the paid PR, all going out in time for the launch. Nice. Good question but this is new tech for us all. 02:00 AM Here so I'm not going to test it for you atm but we all have been running many wallets without ever one time open/forward/nat a tcp port for it to run. So atm all I can do is guess you staking wallet can run next to your mixer. Will test this tomorrow but for me even if this is not working it's still no problem coz I only open my staking wallet every couple of weeks to collect some extra coins

Yes, if more people transact privately, that should mean more revenue for Xmixer owners.

Feeling left out of the party right now, don't think I can bring myself to purchase a PC solely for this purpose; at least not yet.
