Sub-reddit up r/AxisJack, and I posted a wallet address for a developer incentive. Once some more is collected I'll seek some media from well know twitter sources and sites. Ill put a logo on the cover tomorrow. I will also try to get an acceptable website up, since I'm not the best developer. Piofcube: do you have any contact to aid you if you pursue this coin?
EDIT! I missed the previous' page's mention of CallMeAxis organizing a new team; however I'll continue the open wallet and forward the funds when applicable / use it for promotion.
Is the r/axiscoin subreddit moderated by someone here?
BTW I like the new small ANN Pi
I created the AXISCOIN sub reddit, just dont know how to use it and I cancelled it as I thought as I didn't want to be MOD as I am a cabbage with all that sort of stuff.

This coin won't die. I got plenty of axis coins, and I got the source. I will fork it if the dev won't do anything soon.

I don't get this wallet either, have been trying for some time to get it to sync. Tried the update with just the one node, tried config files named as axiscoin,.conf and Axis-qt.conf. Have deleted everything but the config file several times as well......no matter what I do the wallet states there are zero active connections. Perhaps the dedicated guys are running into the same issues?
You can try this procedure: backup wallet.dat file. remove the content of the [datadir] start the wallet and sync with axis.conf put your original wallet.dat in [datadir] restart the wallet go to console -> repairwallet. Supporting new coins is risky. Hey, thanks for trying to help!! "start the wallet and sync with axis.conf"......I cannot get past this step. The name of the config file you gave me was however a different name than I had seen before so was hopeful that was the problem. The wallet never connects and stays at 0 connections. That is both with a completely empty roaming directory and with just the config file.

Why in the world would you fork a working coin?

I am thinking to handle AXIS to the community.
Our dev isn't interested to work on AXIS anymore. :/
I'm not a programmer. If there's someone who'd like to get the project going further, please PM me. - You need to be reputable and have at least 150+ activity.
That's all I can do. That's why I've been silent for the past 2 days. Didn't know what to do.
I'd like to apologize to everyone. I though this would be easy.
*EDIT*
Someone suggested me to hype AXIS with bullshit. Sorry, wont do that. I put a lot of effort and love into it, to destroy it like that.
"If you love something a lot, let it go."
According to the above statement, CallMeAXIS is *not* the dev.

Other than derogatory remarks by trollies the coin does work great and stakes well so I'm hoping that someone takes over with a bit of credability
Heaven forbid one of these buffoons takes control of this coin! I was on irc pretty much all day and night yesterday and had a potential dev waiting to chat but no luck and they heard that the dev wasn't leaving via a skype chat? i have several other investments to tend to so i'm hoping for the best

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. !!! Backup your wallet.dat !!! (located in %appdata%\axis or in your -datadir) Clear the directory Put axis.conf in it with the following content: server=1 listen=1 rpcuser=test rpcpassword=changeme rpcport=23441 addnode=108.61.198.64 addnode=209.222.30.180 Start the wallet (Axis-qt.exe), the wallet should sync with the latest blocks. When it is synchronized, stop it and put back your original wallet.dat Restart the wallet. Type repairwallet in help > debug window > console.

My axis wallet always opens first time, starts syncing in less than a minute, constantly getting pos... so I lock the wallet to let it build up a bit.
deff has been clean sailing on my end
EDIT:
my conf file is called axiscoin.conf and the only node in it is "addnode=82.128.238.235"

I've tried this on both the Windows and Mac wallets and can never get a connection. Weird. I'm on my phone right now but you need to make the conf axis-qt.conf Add it to your appdata folder for axis. Open your wallet and leave it. You are having the same problem I had. I lost my patience left it open went to work and when I got home it was in sync. I was amazed. The connections just took a while to hook up. Now it opens, connects and stakes perfectly fine. I hope this helps. If you need my conf file just holla and I will post it for you
