Price going into the 3ks, mining hash way down, dev you need to play the hype game a little bit or this coin will die.

why ?? price goes up a little huge mining rigs will swoop in and dump their coins crashing the market down again, so whats the point of trying to hype before pow ends? any smaller miners that see the potential of the coin and have been  supporting coin from day who aren't strictly mining for instant profit (actual community) will get waaayyy less coins for their effort.

with the amount of hashrate thats been pointed at this coin I'm surprised the big rig's don't have us sitting at 2-3k by now from dumping... so kudos to any big miners/renters that haven't dumped their AXIS.

deff gives me a chuckle when someones worried a coin is dead during pow phase especially when the coin is still sitting at 4k+ and has  a healthy 28 G/H mining network still.

Thing that worries me is lack of volume and mining hash, not the price.

I think the volume has to do with people holding... all the sell orders are tiny compared to a lot of coins during pow phase. and 30 G/H's is still a heck of a lot of mining power for a coin that only has a short time to build trust of miners, if we stay steady like we are and don't over hype during pow there wont be a shwack load of people already butt hurt from way over inflated prices due to over hype when it dips way back down (cause pure hype doesn't last forever)  once we're through pow and smoothly into pos then some hype will be deserved. and prices/buy orders will deff reflect that

I don't even worry about the trading games during pow phases, I just use the time to mine and buy what I can from those willing to sell at such low prices.

We don't want to kill AXIS by scaring people who're trading. Volatile markets aren't helping any coin.

There is no problems with trading. Yes, the price is below what should be expected.

I do think this is because axis is a coin without all the hype and empty promises that traders come to expect and be able to parade around in the troll-boxes with.

I would strongly suggest people not to "throw the baby out with the bathwater" (act in haste).

Either this is a long term coin (so short term prices does not matter at all) or it's a Pump and Dump (so short term prices is everything).

Up to you to decide but I am buying and mining this coin as a long term investment and hopefully to actually make use of it in the future as a method of purchasing services and goods without the need to convert to BTC first.

I might be totally wrong and end up with a bag-full of dead coins but I am taking the risk, hoping the dev will keep his word and some community will develop around this as time progresses.

Just my opinion but I'm sticking with it ;-)

lol ya he's dumping it 40 coins at a time on bittrex, people are just distracted by the hype p'n d's and the text/sms feature on vrc...like other buddy said about the multipool dumps, if they've been mining us the expect another drop when they start selling, probably a big part of what has brought the price down already.
