However, I can't find the missing 6 million coins either.  I don't know how you get 12 million coins in the PoW phase.  Blocks aren't fully mature to stake for 30 days (but they can start in 7 hours):

687.5 block reward * 1440 blocks per day + 120,000 premine = 6059312.5 after 6 days. (990,000 coins for 5 days, 1st day with premine was 1109312.5 coins)

So...I don't know where 12 million coins in the PoW phase comes in.  In fact, we're about 1/3 of the way through PoW right now (on block 2735 of 8640).  The current money supply is 1,935,099.0.  That's almost 1/3 the total I just calculated (6,059,312.5).

I think the total PoW coins is ~6,000,000.  Thus, the premine was actually 2%.

This is good and bad. Less coins means it's worth more.  However, a 2% premine means we were lied to.

The other option is that I'm just not seeing 6 million coins somewhere.  They aren't in the money supply right now and, at this rate, won't be by the end of PoW.

and ya so once pos starts we'll already have however many days stake on the coins since we deposited your first deposits, and you have a chance of getting your coins staked after only 7 hours (after pow ends of course) but a coin will never get more than 30 days worth of stake on it (full maturity) so be sure to leave your wallets open/unlocked consistently after pow ends to be sure you don't miss out on any

Problems always start when you try to use "X coins per day" instead of just "total blocks" or "POW Cutoff Height". There is no guarantee that any coin will produce the exact amount of coins per day.

Stick with pure code and what the code is written to do.

You're right.  I (maybe incorrectly) assumed the premine was stated in the OP to be a percentage of total coins (like it almost always is in announcement threads).  However, if the value stated in the OP was always 120,000, then we were not misled.  This is my error.  I'm sorry.

To be perfectly clear, I'm happy the total coins was a typo and is now ~6,000,000.  But, let's BE COMPLETELY HONEST.  How many of you would have been on board since day one if the original post would have been correct and stated: 2% Premine and 6,000,000 coins?  I'm guessing many of you would not have started mining this.  Everyone would have screamed that the premine was too high.  Just a guess.  But, that's all in the past now.  I hope good things for this coin.

can see your point for sure, my room mate and I are always arguing about premines... he hates them, where as I see them as almost necessary to get the ball rolling quickly and efficiently when dev uses it correctly... lol obviously crappy dev's have given them a bad name and it gets hard to trust anon devs.

most coins do this while in POW unless bosting a new tech (usually untested feature) or is inflated from hyping

so mining has been awesome, wish some of the big miners would even out  the hash power out a bit more among the pools, but so far so good

Price will drop as supply increases, then I expect a rally to begin shortly before PoW ends. AXIS coin has had an excellent start compared to a lot of other new cryptos. Gonna hold for awhile.

I've only sent coins from bittrex to my wallet none from the pool yet, it's the x13mod sgminer, which pool are you on? I'll try and send some from dedicated and see what happens

EDIT: Less than a minute and they were home in the wallet safe and sound
