For now, we can't tell when will people be comfortable using bitcoin as a currency rather than an asset. I believe people are taking advantage of its volatility or its capability to grow rapidly in just a short period of time in a favorable condition wherein they can earn more profits from it for holding it as much as possible instead of using it in an online transaction for paying bills and buying goods or services. In my opinion, this bitcoin thing can be used only as a digital currency if it is being controlled by the government and has a fixed value like our fiat money.

I can't say that it will happen soon but if someone have the power to teach people or to try to understand bitcoin to people well I guess that is the turning point of bitcoin. Cause many of the people right now are using bitcoin to scam other people that's why the image of bitcoin getting ugly. We just have to wait for the right moment.

I think it's difficult to predict when people are comfortable using bitcoin, I think people are comfortable using bitcoin when every transaction we do can be paid with bitcoin, there is freedom from the government in using bitcoin for everyday needs. yes, besides a very convenient transaction, I also made bitcoin a tool for developing business, and investing for now. it's really comfortable when I get a substantial profit in a certain period of time.

Yes these are too much important factors that you have discussed here. I think that now people have started using bitcoin for online shopping but even in some places shopkeepers are also providing opportunities to people to use bitcoin for shopping in their offline shops. Yes, it will be very comfortable to use when it is legalized all over the world and totally considering the fact that it is a decentralized digital currency without a central bank or single administrator.  It can be comfortable also if bitcoin has no more scam and it will spread to the people its benefit to everyone who invest and how it will help to our economy and to those who are not employed. The more who trust bitcoin, the more it will be good to continue involving BTC.

There will be a perfect time for that. It will definitely unfold in its proper time. Perhaps its perfect time will be when the volatility will somehow mellow down. Quick rise and fall of prices may be good for Bitcoin and for the community because that means there will be more and more investors, meaning Bitcoin buyers. The community will also be growing fast. When will people spend BTC as easily as fiat , not seeing it as an investment opportunity but a better currency for them to use ? Most of my friends that I have currently told about Bitcoin are most intrigued by its rapid rate of growth and not its outstanding features as a currency. They don't really care that it is free from government control , but are more focused on the fact that it has risen xy%

I am under the impression that people tend to hoard more with BTC than with fiat , considering it an investment more than a currency

This is not referring to your blockchain.info statistic , which includes money you have moved around. I am looking at money you have truly spent vs total amount of BTC you have received.

Overall , I'm trying to look at how much my guess is true by the poll and your estimates of when majority of people will start looking at BTC as a currency.

Crypto users will surely trut bitcoin and even altcoins if its price will become stable and it has now dump in the market..  Fluctuations and irregular movement of the price in the market is the reason why people get irritated and dissapoint because it is too hard to execute our own personalize strategy if it is always moving on its own..
