Even if CLOAK passes the audit a few things would need to change, a big marketing & PR offensive would be needed Alty and the Devs would need to be much more active. Quite a few of the prominent members who were around before the first audit and were big supporters gave up after the silence and seemingly terrible attitude towards supports wanting to help.

Take a lesson from DOGE which should have had a very short lifespan but if you engage the community a huge amount amount of success can follow. Now if CLOAK really engages and builds a strong community but actually has something groundbreaking and substantial behind it then I think we can all imagine what could be achieved.

let's visualize THIS.    mined doge in the early days and sold it waaaaay to early because i just didn't take it seriously, thought it was just dumb.   wow was i wrong.  same with mooncoin......could have made alot of money.  as crypto evolves i believe novelty will wear off and coins that have innovation and really perform will endure, eventually become a household name.  cloak

If the trustless anon audit passes this coin can potentially be the biggest comeback ever in crypto.  Honestly it should already be dead by now but combine a successful audit with advertising and active Dev presence and this coin will bring life back to the altcoin scene.

The active Dev presence was the kicker for most to leave

Hopefully the audit still goes ahead, funding might be an issue......

When you look at the last DRK news, it's more than probable that CLOAK will resurect !

Don't pick Kristov Atlas for the review !!! He reviewed DRK code .... (hum hum)

Check out the replies in his latest tweet, there are multiple people prepared to donate for the audit.

Is PoSA 3 released yet?  Or are we waiting for audit?  Can they release it for public beta first?  Or is only for closed testing right now?

We are waiting for audit. It will probably be audited by Kristov Atlas.

Currently there is some action on Bittrex. Looks like we will see 20k again with CLOAK.

I am really amazed by the resistance of this coin that has been called dead many times over and over again

I hope you are kidding. Kristov Atlas audited the DRK code and just after the open sourcing, a security issue has been found in it by an AMATEUR !!!

We can also have Dan Metcalf do the audit? I believe his rate is 3 BTC.

Or maybe both?

The biggest issue is paying for it, according to Alty Kristov Atlas wil cost 2 or 3 btc so say 6btc for both, I guess we'll have to see how much can be raised. If a few could chuck in 0.5 would be good.

No.

The money doesn't matter. We the community can fund it....

The code better be good and alty better not fuck us over....he should debug and test...make sure it is worth doing the audit by the auditer or else this is lame sauce

@CryptoNewsTweet @AKphison Trying to find out the cost of a privacy review via a whitepaper analysis... For a full code review it's $100/hr

Rofl, he wants someone to review only the whitepaper and NOT the code! That's absolutely worthless, you can't find flaws in the code if you're not even looking at the code...

And apparently, given what just happened with Dark, you can't find them even if you're a respected "top" dev reviewing actual code.  lol

I agree with this.  Audit the code rather than a whitepaper.

I agree code audit is definitely the way to go, at $100/hr I guess you could be looking at anywhere from 5 - 10 btc, I was just told it cost drk 7btc for their audit by Kristov Atlas.

Audit the code.  I don't think Atlas can form an opinion by just looking at the "Dick sends 100 cloak to Jane" diagram, or the "Willy Wonka" PoSA video.

Fucking seriously... I've about had enough of this shit. Pick an auditor and turn over the code for the audit.  and you, Alty, should pay every last fucking dime for the audit.

Alright, Ill save you ass clown from doing the research ya selves

5+ POD along with Coin Source trust Verified , active dev team, strong community, fibre OS (operating system) in beta, Fibredark, Fibrelock, Fibreconnect and strong future plans.
total coins are 650k at a 23c per coin and market cap of around 150k obviously it is highly under valued and is primed for a massive surge in price. Should easily hit a market cap of 1mil quickly which means if it did that would roughly be 5X your cash.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=737771.0

By the way, have you sold your FIBRE yet, or are you going down with the ship? 24h change: -20.1%, more than 50% in the last week.

Ouch!

LMAO!!! well considering im still up over 150% in profit I aint complaining and the fact that I have 180btc sitting around like play money and more in cold storage I could not give a rats ass if it goes to zero...Fibrecoin coming out with big news this weekend check it out.

Seriously. What are you trying to say?

Kristov did a code review. He highlighted some issues, he pointed them out and Evan fixed the vast majority.

This guy found something Kristov missed. He tried to exploit it, but the whole thing can be seen on the network. Within a relatively short period of time, he was spotted. 24hrs later a patch is applied around the network.

He has identified one exploit. It was closed. It won't be exploited again. It could also highlight other areas that are related that could be worked on.  The guy said he was going to donate his winnings.

The project is stronger than it was two days ago. This is a small win.
