WaveAddict, how much do you think manipulative moves like throwing up huge ask walls like what happened this night affect technical analysis? I'm not sure whether I should ignore those walls completely, and make my trades based on technical analysis alone, or if there's someway I can integrate the information of those moves into my trading strategy? Wondering what you think! Thanks Smiley

And thank you for all those updates last night! Prevented me from making any stupid emotionally guided trades Smiley

Today's email has been sent  Smiley , and you are very welcome for all those updates last night

I wouldn't worry too much about this 'supposed' manipulator that I keep hearing about. Keep to the charts and you'll be OK

I wondered the same thing too. I'm getting the feeling that it's meaningless, though.

There's nothing more dangerous on a speculative market than having a strategy and not sticking to it. Unless you have an infinitely awesome memory, chances are you will lose whatever good it could have given you, including the "testing for correctness" part. Every time you don't follow your own rules, you have less of an idea of whether your strategy is any good, and so can't really come up with a better one.

If your gut instinct is always right, then this is a moot point anyway...and since you're asking this question, I'm guessing yours, like the rest of us, is often wrong. If technical analysis makes you 1% more correct than gut instinct, it's an improvement on the situation imo, but it's only worth anything if you stick to it and measure it's success over a definite period of time.

By the way, I love the charts are numbered like that! Makes it possible to discuss it here, without giving away your analysis. Good job Smiley

It was only ~5-6k BTC that got sold. Nothing to worry about. The increased volatility is just because of the reduced market depth close to the current price.
