I don't understand you guys

There is NO, absolutely NO WAY multipool.minerals.pro can harm Minerals.

In order to dump Minerals after mining em with multipool one should buy minerals (indirectly, multipool will by em for you). Trade volume will increase, price might increase (might not, but surely it will not drop coz of multipool)

I also don't see a problem with the multipool running at the moment, if nothing else it will be tested and fully operational with more coins etc in time for when the POS stage will start. And with the current Minerals situation where everyone is dumping coins it might be able to help more than hurt Minerals. So I suggest to leave it for 24 hours to do some tests with payouts from the mutipool and see the results on the exchange as well and decide after that.

I think this is most reasonable in this moment!

No multipools! maybe I missed something but this fly's in the face of the whole concept. If people want to mine MIN let them join one of the pools already in place through pow phase? Tell me why a multipool should be allowed ...I'm not seeing it.

I think frontend lost contact with backend.

I'm not sure you understand,  the multipool mines other coins and sells them to BUY MIN from the exchange.  It does not mine MIN directly.

My idea about multipool was that we need to support the coin after PoW phase ends and generate people's interest more and more then. Right now the people mining the coin are supporters only. I personally do not like the idea that some douche with 4GH will mine the multipool, then will buy minerals (which is good, don't get me wrong), the price of minerals will go up, which will lead to more people to jump on the most profitable coin right now which is MIN. They will mine the coin while it is profitable, the hashrate will increase and supporters will get less and less coins while dumpers will get their share and then dump the coin on the market decreasing its value once again right after the multipool has risen it.

That's why I don't see any reason to have a multipool right now when we have the PoW running and only the true believers mining it to attract dumpers. In 3 days when the PoW ends and the multipool starts, then the price will be regulated by supply and demand and not by mine and dump scheme.

you would be right if the pow end time would not be only 3 day, but it's only 3 day, so...

they can't dump in 3 days, because multipool need more time to build the price

When people are allowed to pull coins and dump them on that shite pool, it must also ok to make a multipool to stop the price from dropping to a value that makes it meaningless to mine at the official pools.

its not regular multipool as you might know it
its a multipool for POS coins. It mines darkcoin, trades it for bitcoins, then buys minerals and pays these minerals to miners.
The purpose of this multipool is to allow big wales come end mine minerals is they want. But this time their hashrate can only increase the price of minerals
Regular pools are up and running as well but these pools limit you down to 50 Mh/s

Your saying, min.multipool will mine other coins to purchase MIN and payout will be in MIN. (in the name of protecting the coins value by purchasing large amounts of MIN) Is this not exactly what blackcoinpool.com has been doing with blackcoin after it went POS? look at their stats now... very low miner count, blackcoin is in the toilet in price again.... that concept is basically failing for the most part. Plus the pool operators there, I think got a little greedy with how they used others hash power to mine and then buy and distribute blackcoin as payment. Any miner with any sense saw it was a bit of a rip-off.  For me I still say stay out of the multipool business in everyway shape and form for MIN. Let it be NON-MULTIPOOL if its going to be used as BCPOOL has done. it is failing.
Why not just let the average miners and investors set there own course and nature will do its thing with this coin. NO-MULTIPOOL

Thanks for pointing out joe  Wink
