My Growthcoin wallet is showing four connections but Cryptopia is saying no connections.  Please fix this so we can deposit and withdraw again.

My wallet had 9 or 10 connections 2-3 days ago. Smiley

I'm still waiting on my nodes to finish reindexing, should be done soon but I'm still a few months behind... I'll contact cryptopia after that to see what's up with them, but as we know from cryptopia, they usually take forever to reply to any issues !

Wellcome back, Unick! Glad to see you here again)

Thanks,

it has been a long time indeed  Tongue

good to see you too!

Note:  I just found out I can send 50 coins at a time and now trying higher increments.  I also set more power to the wallet in task manager.
The following should be helpful info:

Does anyone know what can be done if your wallet made several hundreds of tiny stakes?  I didn't know that much about staking when I started and I didn't keep sending coins to myself to keep the blocks large.  I now can't send any amount without selecting each one.   Can one use the threshold command for that, and how would that be done?

You must have a lot of small blocks and you hit the limit of inputs per blocks.

There isn't anything you can do right now as far as the wallet UI doesn't support much features to select coins per specific criteria or auto combine features... If you try to send from an address of your wallet to another one in your wallet, chances are you will be resending the same block over and over again (meaning you send 50GRW, then you send 60GRW but in that 60GRW you still have the 50GRW from the previous tx) that would take forever as you can imagine to combine all your wallet blocks..

One thing you can do, is create a new wallet.dat file and send from the first wallet.dat to an address on the second wallet.dat file.

That would enable you to clean up your old wallet and start fresh within the new one.

Remember that if you manually select the inputs with coin control, the max input is around 760 (if my memory is good). So depending on how much inputs you have, you can manually combine those into the same wallet (I know, it's time consuming Tongue)

I tried sending to cryptopia and I too canot see my deposit in my account.

So I would suggest to wait for anyone to send coins over to cryptopia.

I've opened a ticket with them earlier today but we know that with them it can take some time.

So to be safe, for the time being, wait before sending more coins over there.

If you want to make sure you are on the correct chain and synchronized properly. here's the latest checkpoint hash

Code:
{
"synccheckpoint" : "b4ba637b5de971c4c82e52a4e6ab1f836dc55936acca785633cda642e6117fd6",
"height" : 2494562,
"timestamp" : "2018-04-08 06:39:44 UTC",
"policy" : "strict"
}

if you don't have the same block hash as this synccheckpoint, then you are not on the current main chain.

you can check your current wallet status by going to the console and typing

Code:
getblockhash 2494562

if the answer is the same hash as above (b4ba637b5de971c4c82e52a4e6ab1f836dc55936acca785633cda642e6117fd6), you are fine.

If not, you might need to reindex your blkindex.dat file

this is done by deleting and starting the wallet with the

Code:
-reindex

flag.  on linux it's done by using growthcoind -reindex

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WILL TAKE A FEW DAYS TO COMPLETE, depending on your hardware.

yeah, I just sent 1 GRW to make sure, but after 2 days it still is missing... so there is definitely something wrong with them.

My ticket should be answered within 28 days Shocked , so they say! Roll Eyes  so we have to be patient with them I guess Undecided

Have you guys noticed how the wallet sometimes shows the fee 0.1 GRW higher than it actually takes/req. when making a transaction? If you set it manually 0.1 lower, it always works.

Like now it said 0.20 GRW fee, but this:

0.10 18d3b5bc26e412c19815a13179699a909b2ac3abc2401438f01e601c00ed5010 (change) GbuQ6UsABr491kwPguSsNeQG3zT1XPd2e1

Hopefully this is right you have written ?  Cryptopia wallet is still on  Block  2476972     and thats  the reason if your block high is right why no transactions coming true to Cryptopia because the wallet is 20000 blocks behind !  So guess thats the only problem why no deposits shown !

Yes, this is correct, reindexing the block database should fix it. If it doesn't then deleting blkindex.dat and letting reindex from beginning will be needed.

This could take a few days though!

the latest checkpoint is

Code:
{
"synccheckpoint" : "d0f385f8c5e1cbf88c3bfd5c8a49347322702b060396213e0fc348c5cd5923f9",
