still do not have any news on your code review Huh

Supercoin dev just got an update:

Latest question:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=618552.msg7354992#msg7354992

Dev's response:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=618552.msg7355076#msg7355076

But yeah.. Now it's not even related to MAX_MONEY anymore.. This is getting ridiculous.
Other coders were able to verify the PoW code of supercoin in a matter of hours if that..

But at least busoni isn't ignoring it. Sounds like we will get an official statement from him soon once sorted.
Maybe it really was a genuine mistake. But yeah, it was handled so poorly that it had to ruin both parties.

HEY BUSONI. You still have guts to keep on analyzing code after you proved your incompetence? ENOUGH! You got excited when your dumbass thought total pow was 18.5 mill supply and you were ready to post on twitter that super dev was planning to steal 300k SUPER? BUSONI! Your time is running out.

like said yesterday here is busoni's answer after waiting long hours,

"I'm having someone else who has worked on a lot of coins do his own checks on this, but this is what I came up with myself for the total PoW coins. I am not a coin dev and am not that familiar with coin sources, so I'm not sure if I missed something, but I came up with slightly more than the quoted PoW total. Not a hanging offense, but I just was wondering if I made an error somewhere.

(0.05 * 50000000) + ((19200-1) * 512) + ((28800-19200)*256) + ((38400-28800)*128) + ((48000-38400)*64) + ((57600-48000)*32) + ((67200-57600)*16) + ((76800-67200)*Cool + ((86400-76800)*4) + ((96000-86400)*2) + (400000-96000) = 17529888 (2500000 IPO premine + 15029888 mineable)

15029888 / 399999 = 37.57481 average block reward

(399998/4800)*127*37.57481 + (399998/960)*15*37.57481 + (399998/120)*3*37.57481 = 1008252 additional from superblocks

17529888 + 1008252 = 18,538,140 total PoW coins

So, that's 18.5 mil versus the 18.2 mil from your ANN post. Did I miss something? Or is this just variation due to the pseudo-random superblocks?
"
my answer:
One error in this calculation is that the cutoff point is block 400,000, not PoW block 400,000
You assumed PoW block 400,000, which is completely wrong block 400,000 is about at PoW block 86400-96000, depends on pos generation so you over-estimated 300K there rest calculation seems reasonable
18.5-0.3=18.2  mil.

my answer to him.

Hello,
One error in this calculation is that the cutoff point is block 400,000, not PoW block 400,000

Is there any other concerns about SuperCoin? Let's communicate.

Best wishes from Supercoin Team

Another question?

if you are not a expert on altcoin source code, how can you post it like you know everything.

As a owner of a exchange platform, that's really imprudent and irresponsible.

So, busoni's FUD about 150,000,000 max supply is revised to 18,538,140? And he still gets it WRONG? This guy... LOL.

I'd just like to know why he can't/won't edit the thread, it's only harming his and Polo's image.

Or are we really that insignificant to him? He's probably giggling to himself over all this.

Don't shoot the messenger but I did hear some FUD about supercoin people screwing around with the voting. Could this have drawn attention to the code?

Someone was trying to entice people to vote for supercoin in the trollbox. This could have been easily stopped with a simple admonishment. It was not clear who was doing it, so it is hard to blame the devs.

Why risk a bit of his reputation by trying out oust a non-faulty faulty coding? Why not just say "We won't let SuperCoin in at the time because we think the voting has been manipulated"?

Also, "supercoin people" is quite an ambiguous phrase. Do you/they mean the devs? fans/investors?

Silly rumor.

Polo mods were present when others were giving SUPER away to encourage votes. They did nothing to quash it.

That matter is trivial though compared to busoni's serious and false accusations.

Polo mods allowed the giveaway on Poloniex trollbox, you can still start a giveaway now.

hilarious.. for soooooo many reasons.. where do i begin ? lol

You guys are STILL bumping this topic ? --> r o f  l

Witchhunt for busoni ?
Even if it was a false positive which i believe accurately it was 50/50 ..maybe scam and maybe not.
he already apologized and made things right.. so whay harp on and on about it ?
When he was trying to do his job !
By spotting bad coins etc..
And you sad pathetic scam coin pumpers are ragging on him for that ? gimme a break HHAAHHA

These scammers are spamming this topic with lies games and bull shit non stop.
To anyone not familiar what this was all about i highly suggest reading the early first few pages
and then ignoring the rest of these ignorant gullible little bag holding noobs.
No matter how many times things are explained to them they ignore you and start lying and and name calling etc.

I am tired of explaining it all to idiots over and over.. they are as ALWAYS here.. morons or game playing trolls that *know better.

This forum is abused as a manipulative tool to spring board and push along scams and ponzi schemes.
Probably half of all accounts are controlled by handful of little assholes that would be banned 1000x over on any other site on the web.
They manipulate any topic to make money by logging in as multiple people..
And they login to attack and troll harass and discredit people that expose scams..
And in the process evading any punishment for their behavior.. they will simply jump to another account and keep trolling..

Reality is this Super coin was cloned from a scam.
Coincidence huh ?
The key piece of info could have been used for a scam.. it was not the only piece of coded needed BUT it was a requirement.
Was it a scam ? we just don't know 100% for sure because we should have let the scammer get caught completing the process
and not catching him half way in the process.
But circumstantial evidence goes a long way here..
We have LOTS of scams go on and this Super coin was cloned from a scam so.. call it Honor coin Scam v2.0
And every coin even Honor coin had loud mouth brat supporters.. they will back ANY scam imaginable as long as they can brag about making a BTC or two..
