I wanted to plug the XMR mining pool we just kicked off using the "predictable solo mining" payout scheme as pioneered by Ethpool.org for Ethereum:

https://cryptonote.social/xmr

It's an interesting payout scheme that awards the round leader the entire block rewards, though at a far more predictable time interval than if you were to solo mine on your own. If you have the hashpower and time to stick it out, it's a bit like participating in a race against the other miners Smiley We think it will be pretty fun for the Monero mining community.

Very little chance cloud mining is going to be profitable. It it were, the cloud service providers would be doing it, not you.

Sometimes not, if you get really unlucky with silicon lottery you can get not enough hashrate for the high power draw.
HBM has wild variance, some vega 56 guys have gotten really shafted and hash 200-300 H/s lower than expected.
So in many ways the rx 560/570/580 could actually be a safer investment than vega.

Hi. So. How much hash rate must be today to mine 1 monero per day?

Assuming electricity cost is 0.
You would need ~1.000.000 Hash per second, which is around 23 rigs with AMD EPYC 7742 (44000 H/s) to get 1 XMR daily.

To adjust your math checkout: https://www.monero.how/monero-mining-calculator

Edit: With 1 Gh/s available you would be better solo mining.
