The whole thing feels a bit shady to me. Why does not Bter just give us the exact numbers? Why not tell how many exactly of the 750 has been bought, and how many is remaining?

Quote
More than 600BTC has been invested in Crypti on Bter.com. Invest with caution! We will limit the total pre-sale amount to ~750BTC.

I think a lot has been bought after the 600 BTC was announced? But the sell side still shows 237 remaining.

Also the ~750 BTC feels strange. Why not exactly 750 BTC? Because they will actually sell more than that, now that they see there is huge interest? And if they do, this will dilute the share of the current investors, who are thinking they are getting 1/750 of the available Crypti by investing 1 BTC, while in reality they may get only 1/1000 or something. This would be misleading investor very badly, so I hope I am wrong here.

Will do small programming tasks cheaply in exchange for BTC. Check out my thread or PM me!

hi guys. what do u think about ROI? how much it will be in your opinion?

Minimum possible market cap for this 2nd gen coin with a great team and 750 BTC dev and marketing fund is 10 000 BTC. It means x14 in the first weeks. If devs and dev/marketing committee do things right we'll be in top five within a year.

I think they mean 740-760 BTC. At least I hope so. I also don't like how Bter is doing this IPO but let's wait. No reason for concerns atm.

The total amount of Crypti in existence will be 100 Million and 85% will be distributed to shareholders so where from 30% bonus comes from? It can only come from 15% coins
reserved for initial investor and developers. If not, buying on the last day when bonus will be 0% would mean not actualy getting (coins + 0% bonus) but (coins - 30% bonus).

Can someone from developers clarify the matter?

IPO will not last 30 days so there will be no 30%bonus, if ipo end in 7 days there will be 7 % bonus

Sure nothing has been finalized yet, I personally think that at time stamp X which is when both funds together hit 750btc should be the cut off and everyone post that point should be refunded.

So if in an hour or so marks the 750 btc... but its not found out until an hour after, then simply refund the late comers btc. Just my thoughts

Ok, to clarify, according to the first post, the 750 BTC is the total size of the IPO (Bter + Maxmint combined).

So the Bter part should be actually less than 750, because some will be sold directly via Maxmint. Has anyone bought through him?

Crypti allocation formula

TB = Total amount of BTC collected via Bter and Maxmint plus bonus credits

TC = Total amount of Crypti distributed to buyers

D = Day of purchase

B = Amount of Bitcoins sent by a buyer

C = Amount of Crypti a buyer receives

F = Fraction of the buyer stake in total Crypti distributed

F = B * (1+ (30 - D) / 100 ) / TB

TC = 75,000,000 + 20,000 * TB, maximum 85,000,000 for TB equal to or more than 500 BTC

C = TC * F = (75,000,000 + 20,000 * TB) * (B * (1+(30 - D) / 100) / TB)

https://github.com/crypti/crypti-docs/blob/master/presale.md

[/quote]

I think this  formula is wrong,e.g.    F( Fraction of the buyer stake in total Crypti distributed) = B * (1+ (30 - D) / 100 ) / TB,If  only one person join this ipo and he sent  100 BTCs on first day of ipo,if the formula is correct,he will receive 1.3*85000000,that is 110.5million crypti! but it is possible??

Ok if we count the weird Oct. 5th 2003 value (which just may be a time stamp error?? or Testing for IPO)

 Total is 971.009 btc

with out Oct. 2003 it's

706.732 btc

I'm sure this will all be cleared up soon

Great work Dev's I have followed since page 4 and Like how you delayed things to get it right even though me and my partner had everything ready to go for June 30th... It was easy enough to just sit back and watch a great Dev team hash out the communities concerns...

Don't get to down on this Bter thing it's still a great idea and I love the whitepaper it took use some time to go through it line by line but great work here!!!

After IPO is over market cap is 750 BTC. If market cap is 10 000 BTC there's 10000/750=13.3 ROI.

Oh and we are so pumped that finally have a team go with a lighter elliptic curve algorithm!! To my knowledge you guys are the first to build ground up and change the elliptic curve since the original Bitcoin code. Some one far more researched then me could prove me wrong, and we are not talking changing the hash algo here (x11, x15 or NIST5 are all just hash algo) we are talking the elliptic curve algo... Just brilliant cant wait to dive into the code once it's posted!!!

For your case TB is 130 BTC.

Yes but on what basis you assume that the market cap will grow to 10000 BTC in a few weeks?

Thanks for the kind words.

I think that number is flawed... at the top of that page it says that over 600BTC has been invested, meaning less then 150 is available... still waiting to hear exact numbers from the devs. For some reason I remember reading that there was a buffer of 200 in there which would mean less then 100 left.

It will be good to know the exact amount invested and the exact amount available...

We are looking towards Bter correcting the remaining displayed amount of the buy order later today.

Just observing the market. Crypti has some advetages over other coins, it may easily reach 10K BTC cap.

1. Awesome team with different duties. While someone is working on development others can focus on marketing, contacting merchats etc.
2. All 750 BTC IPO money will be spent on development and marketing and it's a huge amount of money.
3. Bter is one of the biggest exchanges and the fact that they have so much interest in Crypti will raise interest among other exchanges and people.
4. After all it's a second gen coin with new source. This fact itself is enough for 5K BTC market cap.
