To be more clear, I've only mentioned it in the light of the repeating community requests for the max cap, as there won't be any sense to keep the pre-sale going if the said max cap is reached. That said, if we do set a max cap and reach it, and the community will prefer to keep the original period going, we will respect it.

We (the Crypti team) will continue working hard both on Crypti technology and business development, posting here tangible results periodically.

Moreover, we will use this period to finalize the Foundation charter and establish the Foundation from Crypti launch team and community members, and finalize the remaining materials (white-paper, ledger, site, etc...).

Once the August the 10th arrives, we will officially launch Crypti mainnet, and start distributing the genesis block to buyers.

Right, I think it would be good if you could update the OP to add this info.

Why did they sell more than 750 BTC if that was the limit? Looks to me they are the ones who screwed up, not the buyers who bought it legitimately.   They should fix the problem

We apologize for this issue, as correctly mentioned before there is unfortunately no correlation between Bter and Maxmint channels, hence there was no way to know in advance which channel will reach the cap.

We are looking to receive Bter data soon and launch the ledger, to have the questions regarding the future distribution clarified.

How many Crypties you get per BTC?

This depends on whether or not we reach the 750 BTC cap (which it is looking like we will).

If so, there is a calculation somewhere that showed I believe the math worked out to around 113,000 (not accounting for bonus %).

The amount of Crypti you get at launch will be equal to the percentage of total funds raised that you contributed. So if we raise 750 BTC, your percentage of the 85,000,000 will be your percentage invested of the 750 BTC.

UPD: I personally have no problem with keeping the original period going and have an opportunity to refund at any moment. But I guess it'll better to listen what others think.

I agree, and if the community does agree now to close the pre-sale period, and ready to vote for it in a separate thread to indicate there is a majority beyond this decision, then we will be able to raise it to our escrow partners and discuss closing the pre-sale.

Sounds like you're going to keep IPO open 25 more days.

The announced period of this pre-sale is 30 days (ending August 10th, 00:00 UTC), and while we are very happy that the cap was reached so soon, we still will stand by the original terms.

I don't see the point, if the cap was reached. But, neither do I have a problem with it.

I see this as a twofold win, One it shows the devs are standing by their word and not running with the funds and two it gives them the time they had originally planned on to do the work they had slated in their timeline for this month.

I've got a suggestion. If other investors don't mind how about letting those people over 750 BTC keep their stakes? It's just 761 BTC instead of 750, so not a big difference for majority but we'll have more initial stakeholders and some of them might be helpful.

Changing terms after a sale is bad business and should always be avoided. There are many reasons for this that I'm to many coffee's short right now to point out.

We prefer to stick to the original terms, however as you correctly said, in case someone refunds his stake, they will get the refunded amount together with the 24% bonus (prioritized by the time of their purchase).
