upstairs,

Update on Ledger:

I've posted the transaction data and balances from Bter on Googledocs for team review. After other team members have reviewed the data, we will make links public for people to check their balances and resolve any discrepancies they might have with their own records. Another team member and I are independently calculating the distribution to crosscheck everything.

Hi devs...  any update on the ledger?

Ledger is nearly done, we are cross-checking Bitseed's results with ledger output and doing final tests.

We will update this thread once it is launched.

Sir:
There is a scenario like this,
one guy buy 1 BTC in day one in bter, and buy 2 BTC in day three, and sell two BTC in day five, now the balance in his account is 1 BTC, what's the bonus he should get? is it 30% or 28%?

Yes, this is my expectation  too, 30% does make sense.

Indeed, sells will be processed in reverse on buys, resulting on buys with lower bonuses being depleted first.

How many CR tokens over 750 BTC were sold before you closed the sell orders? I still think these people should be included as they bought the CR while the sell orders were still available.

You do have a point and one we had to consider. As per the OP I think the DGEX commission they have set is 3% of funds managed. So there most certainly is a self interest in raising a large amount of funds. That being said, as I just mentioned in another comment, I don't think anyone will hit the 10% mark and the previous high they saw was 6% from one investor.

Of course it is unlikely that the 10% mark will be hit, as it is obvious DGEX wants as much BTC invested as possible.
They will suggest a mark that is so high it is very unlikely it will be hit. That way, the maximum amount of invested BTC from every single person can be guaranteed.

And 6% of all coins in the hands of a single investor is a ticking time bomb already.
NXT had and has to face accusations of bad distribution and their top account only held 5% of everyting.

As was later shown, I was wrong in this post considering Dgex motives. The information I commented upon was false.

I was rounding up to 1000 because I doubt that the price would ever break 1000 satoshi.

litoshi, what  reasons cause you doubt that the price would ever break 1000 sat after launch on bter?

Becuz, if you look at alt coins without any community or ongoing dev support,  like METH, Jackpot, Lottery coin or Asia coin, they quickly fall into the double and single digits.  Why?  Becuz they are not worth anything in the real world.  You can only use them to trade for other alt coins.

Whereas, alt coins with even a minimal community prosper: DOGE, MAX, URO, VIA, REDD.

Looking at DOGE coin for instance.  The price is now 38 sats, BUT there is a supply of 87 BILLION coins.  Thats 870 times the supply of CXX.  If CXX were to be equal in value to DOGE, CXX would sell for 38 times 870 equals 33060 sats.  Thats $0.20 USD

RIPPLE, which is not mineable, like CXX, has a supply of 100 BILLION COINS, 1000 times CXX.  The RIPPLE price is 860 sats.  If CXX were to gain par with this coin, CXX sells for 860000 sats or 0.0086 BTC.  Thats $5.34 USD!!

With all the hype about this coin, I fully expect it to sell on day one for an average of 5000 sats per CXX and go as high as 15000 sats, and a low of 1000 sats if there is a major dump.  Once the emotion-driven traders have see-sawed the market, CXX will settle in a narrow trading range.

At this point, the value of CXX depends completely on the attributes and features of the coin, the trust in the devs, and the chatter in the alt coin community.  In short, the first few days will be emotional trading where greed and regret prevail.  After that, value will determine the future of CXX.

I would recommend posting the distribution sheet before release so any nay-Sayers can be addressed before distribution.

There is an article in COINDESK about the VIACoin Presale for 610BTC!!!!!    VIAcoin is now #3 in trading volume.

Perhaps the devs can get in touch with COINDESK and pump up CXX with a little publicity.

Depends upon the bonus factor.  On page 93 I posted an educated guess:

Meh, I just did 750 / 85'000'000. The bonus will get some people a bit more coins, which will only lower their per coin price.

But ~830-900 is close enough. I expect the Asks to start around 1500 and the Bids around 800.

I'm confused. Why are you in this thread? Did you invest or not?
