I only expect devs can make great marketing promotions for the baby named CXX ,inclouding be on shelf by more exchangs except bter.com

This matter is a post-launch target as well, hence the focus on stable node API, enabling exchanges to easily integrate and support the Crypti nodes.

...nor provides any search facility via Bter ID while still preserving the privacy.

Don't they (ids) just go like 50001, 50001 etc? What's the reason to hide them? It's not like every ID has unique combination of characters.

They are, however they still can be used to identify the account owner (as they the same as the referral ID), and Bter has specifically asked us to keep them private.

I think the problem is that the devs are experts in Java and programing languages, but not in Excel.  Excel has a learning curve much higher than WORD.

Actually we have quite a detailed model in Excel since 21th thanks to Bitseed, however we decided to use it for internal reference only, as it does not include Maxmint data (which could be sent from same BTC address multiple times), not provides interactive marking of accounts to be refunded, nor provides any search facility via Bter ID while still preserving the ID's privacy.

Unfortunately, programming the formula and running with it over the whole data-set, has proven to be somewhat more time consuming than expected.

For sure!! I could see how much time this would take.. publicly viewable.. privately searchable.. floating percentages... It's not just a spreadsheet..

I forsee a potential problem in the future:

... A first day (30% bonus)  investor/investors with a 10BTC investment refunds/sells their CRSHARE to Bter.  Several 4th day (26% investors) investors on the waiting list are advanced to the payout list. There is a 4520 CXX difference per BTC invested between the 30% and 26% investors

This then results in a shift in the amount of CXX for every investor, as now 45200 CXX will need to be reallocated among the original investors.  It averages 60 CXX per BTC invested.  Chump change, but significant to a 15BTC investor.

My suggestion is that if this occurs, and investors ask for refunds after the ledger is published, that the CXX difference between the refunded shares and the waiting list shares be used for CXX development/promotion.

I see. I forgot that there are only few hundreds investors among tens of hundred thousand Bter users, so in order to collect all data one have to check all IDe from 1 till the last registered user which is probably 100K or 200K, which is not as easy as just to copy/paste data if ID's are open to public.

Ledger is many weeks late. Hope this isn't a signal crypti is exo 2.0

Please note that we received Bter data only on the night of 20th, which is basically the main reason for the delay.
Moreover, and as we want to be as accurate to possible, we keep the ledger offline for the moment in order not to confuse the buyers, both due to Bter data discrepancies (that we have to work-around) and the issues discovered during testing.

Finally, we are also working on Crypti itself in parallel for reaching the upcoming distribution.

The ledger is expected to go online today with all issues resolved, thank everyone for their patience.

Looking forward to the ledger.

I don't think it looks scary and bold. I think it looks stupid. What is CXX? Have no connection to Crypti whatsoever.

CRYPTI is awesome ticker. What could possibly be better.

Not only is it stupid, but it is hard to pronounce.  C X X  vs BTC which easy to say

So, we fixed ledger, it's in private testing, sorry for delay, i have a lot of work on wallet.
After testing we will publish it again (i think in 3-8 hours). There was issue with pre-sale formula and we got data from bter just on last weekends.

I'm working on wallet now, i want to add second passphrase (for send crypti operation) and maybe something like multi-signatures later.
Wait for news.

CRYPTI is awesome ticker. What could possibly be better.

6 characters for a ticker is too long. The purpose of a ticker is to abbreviate the name. It would be the first ticker with 6 characters and would defeat the purpose. Also,  Cryptsy already has the ticker CRYPT.

I feel a ticker is optimal at 3 characters. I personally like CXX but if not CXX, some other 3 character ticker. I don't know why CRY was not nominated as a vote option.

Hey SyRenity

QUick question, will a one-click installer for Windows be available at release? Or are there dependencies for Node.js, that we need to install first?

Yes will there be an easy 1-click install?
I'm new to Node.js could someone explain a few things, I have watched NXT and Qora YouTubes and still have a few questions. I'm use to QT clients so These questions may be silly to you all but I'm a noob to this type.

1. When you log in to your wallet is it using your IP and the password/passcode?
2. Can you log in to your wallet using another computer on the same IP with same password?
3. How do you back up the wallet?

And I think the CXX could be confusing to someone, I guess I'm not seeing the connection to crypti with the "X"

1. No, only your passphrase. Passphrase using for private/public key generation. But IP using in PoT forging.
2. Yes, you need only passphrase to log in in to wallet.
3. As i said public/private key generated by your passphrase, you need only back up your passphrase.

About 1 click installer, if we can find here some developer, who can write installer in one click (we will provide all builded nodejs modules and libraries), will be good.

If you can write installer for crypti for each platform (QT?), contact me via PM
