Here look me and SyRenity PM'd about this back on July 28th... trust me the Devs are and where prepared for this just like I was... Things can happen it's all about being ready if they do... I'm not going to post our whole convo on here... believe me or not.. Devs where ready for this just incase OK i'm sure you guys have thought this through.. But what if Bter "goes down" like a Mt. Gox... How would we ever trace back who traded what... I'm not sure how good your relationship is with Bter and don't want to give any ideas to anyone... which is why I PM'd you... At this point I can prove (somewhat) by a screen shoot of my Bter account and the ledger what I own... well both those could be faked for sure... but if for any reason Bter wants to sabotage crypti or if they get a high volume of BTC from crypti.. I would just hate to see them "get hacked" or pretend to get hacked or some other BS...
This just may be me way too paranoid... I'm sure the amount of BTC they would lose from a silly stunt... like trying to screw crypti... would be not enough to do anything... but I just thought I would weigh in...
I personally don't think I will be trading early... but I see you guys had to do this before someone really got scammed trying to trade Tokens on there own...
I can't wait to see how the next few weeks play out!!!!

On a side note .. Anyone know why BTC network is so slow right now?
If you mean slow to confirm transactions, it may be because of the big miners. Transactions are supposed to be confirmed by the miners, but the amount earned from that was far less than using the hash power to mine. Most of the big miners are filtering out the confirm requests in order to goose their success rate on mining. It`s been almost an hour and not 1 confirmation... wtf? Strange no? Your own wallet, or a wallet on an exchange? Check the blockchain. You might not be updating, but still confirming Sending from my wallet to my NEW BTER wallet. Still unconfirmed after 1 hour. I have proof that you at least can withdraw. So if you can't deposit that might be sense of denial =) from Bter

I've just deposited 0.1 BTC on BTER for testing. Worked fine. It was there after 1 confirmation.

Most solo miners and mining pools currently treat any transaction that has a fee that is less than 0.0001 BTC (0.1 mBTC) exactly the same way as they treat any transaction that has no fee at all. A fee of exactly 0.0001 BTC can take some time as well... I usually go with a 0.00015 or 0.0002 BTC (0.2 mBTC) fee just for good measure

From Bter:
Notice: If you deposit less than 0.005 BTC, it will be accumulated and credited to your account until no less than 0.005 BTC received.
Could this be your problem?

I just have to get this off my chest...
Look guys what stake you own in Crypti is yours!! don't let someone take from you what you own without giving you what you want for it... The Dev is here you own what you own... There is a lot of things out there that can make you see things differently... But there is only 1 Crypti and most of you still own some of it... Yes the Bter thing is alarming to some buyers... However if they want our Crypti they will have to come and get it... Once the wallets go live ppl will feel more comfortable buying on Bter... Bc they will be able to transfer there newly bought Crypti off the exchange... I know it can me hard but try not to lose sight of what you own and that its only someone else if you let it happen at this point...

Bter update
We got a quick update from Bter regarding timelines. They currently working on securing their systems, and expected to get back to Crypti mainnet integration on Sunday. This means that in case they complete it within a day (as originally planned), we could launch Crypti as early as on Monday 18/8.
Bter has also provided us with their cold wallet public address, so we could verify the investor funds are intact. We have looked at the wallet located at the address, and can confirm that it contains a significant amount of BTC, which could easily cover the amount that Bter should transfer us on the launch.
Just to play devil's advocate. Couldn't Bter show you anyone's BTC address and say it's theirs? As I'm sure there are quite a few people that use the site and have large BTC holdings..

It's a Bitcoin transaction delay. Not related to BTER. Bitcoin transaction times are 10-15 minutes on average, but there is no guarantee. It can take 2 days. This is why Bitcoin will be replaced by another coin. It's way too slow.

I tried a deposit as well and work just fine. Almost 3 hours now... I dont know whats going on.. Check your Bter BTC deposit address and make sure it is up to date. During the changes today they also changed deposit addresses. I had to change mine a few minutes ago and my transaction went through in a matter of minutes. I now have an additional buy order for more XCR.

This has crossed our minds when doing a team conference yesterday, we will ask Bter for a solution.
