@Devs

There's a major issue here, it seems that the exchanges are on a different fork. Let me elaborate, earlier I made a "network transaction", when I paid for my second pass-phrase. This transaction reflected in the blockchain, however a number of users here, including myself, made withdrawals from BTER and our coins are nowhere to be found.

It's not that they are still pending withdrawal, the withdrawals were executed, but it seems on the wrong fork. Finally there was a whopping 3-hour delay between block ID - 8252037094949231547 and block ID - 6202518723014129211, I believe within this time the blockchain was forked and now we have two separate chains.

We are aware of this issue and resolving it, a new 0.1.4 version will be available for download once we finished testing it.

Please read the above if you are waiting on withdrawals to arrive at their destination...

I can't understand why people are selling this coin so cheap.

Are you kidding?  100 million coins is a lot of coins.  I'm not saying they can't go up but at first sight most investors think the dilution is a bit much.  Nothing updated features and advertising won't fix but one has to expect this.

Did anyone here buy in the IPO?  How much were people paying at the time?

Thanks!

There is no dilution since no new coins will ever be minted.

edit- also: this project was launched couple of days ago. so you need to give it few more days to reach your standards Smiley

There is a big difference between inflation and dilution and 100 million coins is significant dilution.

Why is there a fee for receiving your fund in your online wallet? This is ridiculous.. Bter fee is 1% which in itself is ridiculous.
The whole idea of crypto's is cheaper transaction and faster transfer. These atrocious fees have to be reduced..

Most people have looked upon NXT as a comparison, and 100 M isn't so much as compared to a billion.

As for the IPO, I think the buy in was around 880 sats or so. To me, that's the simple answer as to the current price, as IPO people will take profits. There is also the fact that the roll out wasn't exactly trouble free, bter had their own issues with that nxt debacle, and a lot of people don't use bter to begin with.

i withdrew 800 xcr from bter to cryptsy and its not appearing in balance what i should do? should i just wait?

Same here, I sent some to Cryptsy and some to Polo, and no balance there after 12 / 36 hours. Opened a ticket with Polo, and with bter, but no reply... WTF?

Yep same. Its now been almost a full 24 hours... Ive got 10,000 XCR in limbo (well less because of Bter's ridiculous fee). Devs please help.

Im fairly certain the issue is on BTERs end but I could be mistaken. SyRenity and Boris have been working all day to get 0.1.4 ready which will alleviate these issues in the future. I don't want to say what I think the issue was yet but I will get with them and see where we stand and try to get an update out.

Currently the whole blockchain is a mess, there seem to be more than two forks here. I've tried http://wallet.crypti.me, my local wallet, as well as my wallet on my DigitalOcean server and all three end up syncing to different blocks, with different balances in each, some with excluded transactions. We have no real clue what's going on here.

Actually, compared to most Crypto Currencies and most FIAT currencies, it is significantly less or equal dilution to their current or end states.

It looks like actually the fork recovery built in worked and the forging and syncing issues are due to another issue. Either SyRenity or I will update you shortly on what happened and caused the break in the forging and syncing issues. Boris is testing the new version and ensuring everything looks right and it should be deployed soon. This will fix the current issues and should keep it from happening again.

Keep in mind that we are certain no funds are lost and once the new version comes out, everyone gets updated, and re-downloads the chain, everything will be back to normal and as expected.

Not to my knowledge. I have been with the project basically from the beginning and it was always Crypti.

I'm accepting bids for Cryptians.com if anyone is interested.

That's a lame name for a site...why would anyone want it?  Whatever you paid was too much.

I paid a whopping $12.

I know it sounds crazy but if Crypti gets popular you think maybe the name Cryptians might also be very popular?

Unless you also think Crypti is a lame name.  lol.

Ok.  Cause that's who NXT ripped off and rushed it to market.  Thought maybe it was you guys finally launching the original NXT.

Status update

After an extensive analysis, we found out that one of the nodes has transmitted an invalid block which caused nodes to halt processing the blockchain. While we included handling for such events, this particular use case was not included.

Note: It's important to mention that no funds were lost as the result. We in constant contact with all the exchanges who integrated with Crypti, and will ensure the funds are attributed correctly to each Crypti account.

We still checking if this was a deliberate attack or an internal bug, that said in order to ensure such cases do not repeat, we have added a processing that will filter out this and similar types of blocks.

We will release a 0.1.5 shortly, that will resolve the current situation, and also will include an improved fork-recovery mechanism, that will remove the invalid blocks from the local blockchain storage (without the need to do it manually).
