Installed the Windows Standalone today.
So far it works. After importing the priv key from the old wallet in a new created one I found the coins and made a successful test send.
One small Warning for those still useing old Internet Explorer as default:
\package\runMon.bat
Will boot but the running NIS Node is not detected and its not visible synchronizing.
If you then try to start a node manual from the menu it tells you it's already started. Also the Icon in the TaskBar shows it's runnig.
If you don't want to change your default browser:
You can copy the Web Address from IE over to Chrom after the boot up to solve this issue or you can start the NIS and NCC the manual way like in Beta:
1) \package\runNis.bat
2) \package\runNcc.bat
3) open Chrom enter
http://127.0.0.1:8989/The whole NEM NIS/NCC/Java/Webbrowser thing still looks a bit complicated to me (i prefer old shool standalone wallet app) but it works and looks good once booted and the control Icon in the TaskBar is a very neat thing.
So nice Job.
