I think it a very good move on the part of the NEM foundation - this will ensure the continues operation of the platform and protect it against further financial issues. Additionally, its a strategic move but must be always done with transparency to the community.

These news will definitely affect price positively for NEM in the future.

It's hard for NEM to come back to top 10.

I don't think that's going to be possible. There are much worse projects higher up but they're slowly carving their place in the minds of the public and that doesn't go away. Nem's ability to capture hearts and minds is non existent still after all these years. It's had five years to be 'discovered'.

I'm sure the price can be much higher than it is at present in future, but it's not dislodging the projects at the tippy top. The developers would say that's not relevant and for their purposes and reasoning it's true.

but not for the ones who didn't sell at the top 

nem asset is good but only when the market grows up. what we see now with a falling market and a market that is stable is gradual inflation and price drops in btc. it is better to keep something from the top five but if you kept all this way this asset selling is too late guys!

Can see testing of market.  I think within the next two months gradual bull run starting approx a year before next BTC block reward halving. After block halving in May 2020 there will be consolidation, then approx 12 - 18 months after May 2020 will be next ATH.  NEM and a lot of other cryptos will rise on the back of BTC.  My prediction is by Winter 2021, next bull peak.  You can come back to this post and thank me  .

Nem labs won't be funded. If I remember rightly it got a higher proportion of the vote but there you go.
