Please keep the requests to add XEM to margin trading and lending coming into Poloniex. Use this form--it only takes 30 seconds: https://poloniex.com/featureRequestLending will provide another way to fairly safely accumulate XEM. Or... if you're good at margin trading, then you can make some big profits with it. I don't personally think that margin trading helps a coin's development at all. margin trading brings volatility, which is bad for using nem for it's value for development (for ex. the comming Foundation) Im sorry guys but good for trading is not good for nem. I get your perspective, but i take the view that trading is like self-advertising and exposure, which long term is good for NEM. It is also not right to tell others what they can and cannot do with their money/investments/assets. Thats leading down the very road that crypto was attempting to liberate us from.

Once again im killing myself i never sold my stake when it was high and i could have bought back now. However i did not want to take that risk if it continued to rise and it pretty much owes me nothing so i still have not lost anything. I would have probably bought back when it was still higher anyway so would not have gained much. This project has some real long term goals and there is no reason we cant hit $1 billion marketcap. We should be worth more than steem as it is, i think once the hype dies off with steem, the markets will settle a bit more It is this kind of thinking that the sharks are exploiting. They want you to take unnecessary risk and make the wrong moves in the market. They profit from the mistakes of others. So it is good to think of every scenario before you make a move.

Activity from Japan and Malaysia is increasing rapidly. NEM IO is almost a top 20,000 website in Japan. In past days NEM became a top 10,000 website in Malaysia. http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/nem.ioAnyone who is selling their NEM right now will regret it shortly. Who's selling when adoption is taking off in Japan and Malaysia?

I've made the mistake of trying to trade crypto, selling it all, and just ending up losing more than I would've done if I just bought and held. But at the same time buying and holding isn't optimal either. So what should you do? Sell bits and pieces here and there. 5-10% at a time on the way up. And if you think it's a long term solid investment; buy the dip(s). Also in bits and pieces, not "buy aaall the XEM at the first dip". Save money for dip #2, #3, #4.

Yes and no 1st you will never know where is dip. (if you know you should be on bahamas drinking tequilas with hotgirls ). Getting that point of bottom is bigger luck that anything till we don't know any fundamets like are in stock market where you can see that if there is demand for goods or not here we live in virtual world were can anything happened.

That's AWESOME advice. I had to figure this out the hard way too. Also, for all you out there who think this would be a good thing, please keep requesting that Poloniex add XEM to margin trading and lending, as this would equal another great way for us long term investors to grow our stash. https://poloniex.com/featureRequest

It is now a good chance to buy some XEM .
Heard it from XEM nutters @2000sats, then at 1800, then at 1500. "XEM is still cheap" (c) xem bagholder, 2 weeks ago 3 years later XEM @20 000sat and people will joke from this comment like from 10 000 BTC pizza.(I have hope i am right) This goes to many market events pump dump new flor, in crypto reality there is a lot of interesting project while 1/100 is making some success. Comparing to "tiny" stating founds of xem devs stating prices from 0.005- 0.1 BTC is nothing comparing it to hundrets of REAL $ payed for ETH or DAO. Bitshares which get 5m$ got drop of the road by their devs and they want go with 2.0. there is many 2.0 projects. Its really simple xem with low volume can drop even 300-500 area but once some project will be at finished and polished some big $ will come ealier and buy cheap xem. Then many hated will be with empty xem pockets crying here how they miss such "shit" coin bla bla... I love such drama discussions. They are not matters but big $$ are matters those guys are around xem now and someday if decs will work like they work xem will jump again 10x in week. Sure there is a lot of new coins around but XEM is secure, have proven devs who doesn't dump on pumps and run away. Xem survived over one year and have not real drama or disaster around so for longer run this is really good coin to stick with IMO., Amazon windows is horrible better is go through Ubuntu server via ssh but this is hard way. If you want only node for harvest then try: https://github.com/Stoner19/Nem-Installers-masterscripts are doing job for you.

... It has been 2 years that NEM has been around So considering ongoing projects involving real companies around and price we can frankly say that nem have fulfilled their promises. In therm of price it make at least 100x jump from ICO value. Just wander what will next 2 bring to us in therms of technology.

Personally I'm hoping that more mainstream adoption of this coin will happen along with regular updates to the tech. There's really not much else that crypto coins need right now, mass adoption is a hurdle even bitcoin needs to overcome first.

What do you mean by deactivated? How did it happen? Did you do something with the account controls on the left of the screen? Without knowing what you did, I'd say check the list of accounts in your wallet by clicking the down arrow on the screen (looks like ^ upside down), if the account with 10,000 is still on the list you can just click on it to make it the active account again. As a last resort, if you have a copy of your Private Key for your account, you can always restore that account on any wallet.
