Catapult must first hit mijin, before it'll hit main nem network.
The former has not happened, and it will take a bit before it's gonna happen.

Hey, you guys should realize that Alexa stats are not very accurate, right? Check out the geo stats from a professional research tool (SimilarWeb Pro):

https://i.imgur.com/B4DPXyU.png

As you can see, it's actually the US and China that seem to be sending the most traffic to nem.io Smiley

Not familiar with this website and, when I load it up, it claims China is the main source of traffic.

Nevertheless, what both websites agree on, is Malaysia probably has the most NEM users per capita.

China, United States and Brazil are such big populations.  I think most people in the world had heard of Bitcoin, especially from infamous news like the Silkroad or MtGox, but most people on the street in those countries wouldn't know any alternatives.

When various agencies claim only 100,000 to millions of people are using crypto world wide - I'm pretty excited whenever you see a crypto thriving in a smaller population like Malaysia.  Malaysia is going to be NEM's Tiger.

Is there any reason that when someone clicks delegated harvesting in their primary account in the XEM wallet nothing happens.  However, when clicking delegated harvesting on another account in the same wallet which isn't a primary account and has no XEM in, delegating harvesting opens up the popup with the 6 hours message.

Basically, what I'm trying to do is set up delegated harvesting, previously being a local harvester.  Do I use my primary acct, which has an importance.  Or should I make my account with XEM and importance into a non-primary account, and then activate delegated harvesting?

Actually ignore this.  I've just restarted NCC service to get this working.

Yeah, that's correct, China is the leader when viewing only past 1 month stats. The image I posted was from the pro version of their tool and was for the last 3 months of data Smiley

And I'm not saying SimilarWeb is completely accurate either, none of these tools are, but I do know that SimilarWeb's data is very good and is why I'm paying a small fortune for it to use in my marketing business.

And either way, I think it's positive for NEM to see so much global interest in general, and interest from US and China should be good for it too if higher XEM price is the goal Smiley

I accidentally deactivated my harvesting account... what can I do? Will my NEM be gone? Can I move them?

What do you mean by deactivated?  How did it happen? Did you do something with the account controls on the left of the screen?

Without knowing what you did,  I'd say check the list of accounts in your wallet by clicking the down arrow on the screen (looks like ^ upside down), if the account with 10,000 is still on the list you can just click on it to make it the active account again.

As a last resort, if you have a copy of your Private Key for your account, you can always restore that account on any wallet.

Thanks, I got it! I just deactivated delegated hosting. I thought it was something else by mistake. We're there... everything is still there and I'll be bk harvesting w/in the hour.

I've activated delegated harvesting, and there's about an hour left of the 6 hours.  I've just bought some more XEM, can I send these to my account, or do I have to wait until the delegation is complete?  If I wait until the delegation is complete, which acct do I send the XEM to?  Would the balance be reflected on my delegated acct or do I have to stop and start delegated harvesting.

Apologies if it's a silly question.

Yes you can still send xem to your delegated account. It does not affect your harvesting  Smiley

You better send xem to your main account but if you send to the delegated it is not a problem.

There is no need to wait. Anyway having an increase in vested balance will require more time but you don't need to wary about that: everything happens authomagically

Good. Make sure you keep copies of the Private Key for your account somewhere safe so you can recover it if something happens.
