I wonder if someone can help me.
I have over 36K XEM in my NanoWallet (over 22K already vested). I followed instruction to start harvesting (a week ago) but I got no blocks harvested. What I noticed is, after I log into a wallet and click on "Manage delegated account", "Harvesting status" shows as "Inactive" for a second, then goes "Active".
I know that probably that question has been asked and answered on a forum, perhaps more than once, but it's over 1600 pages on that topic, and it would take me days, maybe even weeks to get through that. Anybody?

There are 9b xem, you just have 22k vested.

About 1500 blocks per day.

Do your math

The Japanese exchange paid 300 million to buy NEM, is this news false? NEM went up a little bit yesterday

No, they bought 300 million NEM.

Oh, this is very significant amount of investments. Is there any article or news about this purchase?

yes, 50 - 60 million USD.
That also correlates with the "common sense course analysis": every eye-witness can see that when the price is going up, the volume is bigger than when the price is dropping.
E.g. look the poloniex curve for the four last days.
During the last 30 hours there are 2 volume peaks, where someone was selling. But the volume is smaller than the buying volume on 3rd of July.

When summing up these volume data and the above 300 MXEM investment, I would like to ask why someone does want to sell in these prices Smiley

i think u missunderstand that the main value part is the DIM token (with limited supply)
and not the dimcoins which are just a nice addon
but dimtoken will give owner a right to earn some of dimcoin ecosphere fees

Where did you get this?
100 DimCoins=1 Token
Here is my discussion with somebody of the DimCoin Team:

yes 1 DIM Token will give u 100 dimcoin + ICO stage bonus
but u also keep the DIM token

in fact its 2 currencies on top NEM chain
DIM token and DIMcoin

but regarding the fees from dimcoin ecosystem it doesnt matter how many dimcoin u have
the ammount of DIM token matters

and DIM tokens are limited to 10 000 000 units

DIM tokens qualify u to earn fees generated in dimcoins ecosystem
and dimcoin is the currency in that ecosystem

I'm really sorry for the noob question. Maybe I didn't search too much, but is there some articles explaining DIM ICO? How long is it going?

I bought at 0.10$, 0.25$, 0.16$. Satisfied. Catapult is a very serious thing. The possibility is unique, As soon as they let out the catapult and make advertising for 40 million dollars,
The price of XEM will grow much. And rollback back will be minimal. In the future, 100% of large companies and banks will join. With this technology, it's obvious. The catapult Is being developed by professionals for 2 years, as soon as a catapult is released and there will be strong advertising marketing. Programmers are smart. It's only beginning.

Lol I made that picture for my NEM episode Smiley

When an exchange purchases 50 million dollars worth of XEM, that tells you they are very confident in the project.  Cheesy

I wonder whether NEM and in particular Catapult will be able to address issues mentioned in the article below. I understand that speed and scalability should not be a problem for NEM/Catapult but public record of every transaction on a blockchain sounds like valid concern for the banking sector. I'm not super technical so perhaps someone will be able to explain? In this scenario would the bank use Mijin instead of NEM? Would that benefit NEM in any way?

But Marcus Treacher, the global head of strategic accounts at Ripple, said the fact that each user of a blockchain has a record of every transaction conducted would not work for banks competing with one another. He said: "Every single bank gets a copy of everything, even when it’s encrypted. That is not going to work."

this should be reviewed and learn how another ico that has been used with nem(xem) platform works, and how it will be impact the project
nem will go up when most of ico will work with its platform wait for the success of Dim so more investors will follow.

NEM value proposition is the public- and private chain interoperability and a Standard for banks.
Each chain can be used in the right purpose. The (trusted) private chain would be used within the bank (link an intranet) for speed and privacy reasons. If the bank sends an asset to another bank, the transaction would go  through the public chain in order to get it publicly verified and arrives at the private chain of the other bank.

It felt like its a catapult indeed. I always keep in mind that Nem had already started some ICO of the tokens in its network. I think that was DimCoin. There was so.e other coin too, I hope the dev will be listing it too in the OP.

Are there any plans to make delegated harvesting more reliable? Lately nodes keep going offline and it is annoying to have to manually reconnect every time.

A system like waves has would be ideal imo. You lease your balance there and if their node goes offline your balance is still leased to the node.

Actually similar thing like this could be done already but
that requires a node owner to add your delegated account private key to
the node auto harvest option in the node configuration file.

That was just a description of a usecase.
If you want a bank then just wait and buy in at 20k sat or higher. I will sell it to you then with a big smile

You can ask a supernode owner to add the delegated private key to the config. That way, if the NIS is restarted, the account will harvest again.

Could we set that up with my account and the hugealice node? I'd *love* to just keep harvesting without ever having to worry about it. Can you PM me?
